I think this new RG might be interesting, but as you said, let's see how it turns out. I only have a pre-built figure of the RX, so this could be my first kit of him.

The inner-frame looks like it has very small and thin parts so it was probably a good idea that the frame was pre-built to prevent parts from braking if we were to manually assemble it.

OMG that real grade looks f-ing AWSOME!!!! and the good thing is it comes out in the same month as my b-day...my parents wont hear the end it! though I'm kinda worried I'm gonna screw it up cuz I have only built 6 other gundam models...and I have waiting to be painted(YAY! for experimenting) ugh...I just know I'm gonna wrck it T-T

While I like the idea of the real grade, I'm apprehensive of how it will turnout. Not so much the build experience, but small parts are a bitch to clean. I can see blood being split building this one!

00 mobile designs suck, always have, possible always will, exceptions 00, Exia and Reborns. 0 doesn't count as it's just the 78. The rest look like simplified designs aimed primarily to make them easy to animate on a computer

the new 00 gundam movie's mobile suits designs are quite different and unique in a good way to me

so they were already working on the o's master grade before the competition, 00 raiser is practically guaranteed a master grade, victory just came out, so they might wait a bit to release victory 2. (i'd say next year maybe?)

i would think that they are trying to bring the PG line down to cheaper smaller proportions for the people who don't have the space or money plus it would mean less time to develop a smaller model than a PG so they would probably begin a bigger line of RG even before the next PG is announced if the RX-78 goes well

For me I tought that the real grade would be a grade that even surpasses the PG.

So for my the real grades are just the next level of 1/144 models.

@EDorb This will probably be the most amazing Gundam kit released so far! Get yourself a pair of nippers and a hobby knife. They are invariably easy to get into at any level.

@EDorb It's a model kit, you don't really need to watch the series to be honest, although the series is great, I'd reccomend the UC timeline very much! (although at first you might want to stop watching) It's worth it when you get deeper into the series.

Judging by the iner frame sprue the fingers will have only one knuckle joint.

Dont worry about the frame, there are more pieces that go over the pre assembled parts to reinforce it.

I'm only interested in the HG kits from Unicorn and of course the RG.

@ZR0Ver2 The RG is mostly above my initial expectations. A fully retractable undercarriage would have been nice. The HG all new Unicorn kits are only interesting if they're not the ones that are re-releases with just a bigger backpack.

@2Old4Toys I'm very interested to see what the HG Sinanju will be like compared to its MG counterpart and how Bandai will tackle the gold trim at that scale. Delta plus is a gorgeous evolution of the Hyaku Shiki design.

@ZR0Ver2 looking closely at the computer graphic of the frame. The fingers are 2 shades for some reason. But agree that the B sprue design looks likely to offer just the 1 jointed knuckle. (still hope for 2)
