  • Mr K-1 peter aerts in branko's corner :)

  • upload more videos please Dennis Alexio

  • 1:20 even Chuck Norris watching Branko Cikatic

    hehehehehe

  • The eventual decision, following an appeal by Alexio, was that Alexio did not commit a foul, so Alexio won the match and hence became the ISKA Oriental Rules World Champion. A title he subsequently lost in another controversial match against Stan Loginidis in Melbourne, Australia.

  • Overall an extemely unsatisfactory outcome as a consequence of having an untrained referee licensed by the State to supervise a major PPV TV event. The ISKA wanted the commission to agree to a change, and they accepted changes on the undercard. We could not persuade them to change out the main event. Pat Burleson is a well known and respected martial artist, but as this match shows, without training he was way out of his depth in the ring that night.

    Robert Mason ISKA World Commissioner.

  • Following an appeal by Alexio I watched the video at least 100 times, and I ruled that there was no evidence Alexio broke the rules. Cikatic was fouled by the referee, who continued to hold his glove with his left hand, while saying "fight" and indicating "fight" by cutting down with his right hand. Cikatic did not follow a basic concept of combat to "protect yourself at all times". Additionally, the unauthorized entry of Cikatics' second into the ring gave grounds for disqualification.

  • The referee was licensed by the Nevada commission, despite efforts to have someone more experienced brought in. The ISKA was asked to sanction the bout for the World Title a week before the event and we could not get a referee change. The Nevada commission had full legal authority. At ringside, neither myself, as the ISKA Commissioner, nor the Nevada Commissioner could get a decision from the referee. We had to decide whether the final attack by Alexio was as foul or not. The ref was uncommited.

  • I think they both got misled by the referee, cicatic thought he said break, alexio thought he said fight. cicatic got punched twice, but it didnt look like ha HAD to quit, he looked fine after 2 minutes. they could hav continued the fight caus none of the fighters broke any rules, the ref made a mistake. anyway, i think alexio would have won. near the end it looked like he was just getting started.

  • LOL... "I think Cicatiç and the referee was to blame..". LOL, Nobody disputes that Cicatiç was losing and big time. Also nobody disputes that Alexio was a good fighter. The only thing that is indisputable is that the commentators should definitely go take a hike and that there was a biased atmosphere strongly supporting a single outcome which was for Alexio to win. Do not get me wrong: he would have deserved it. But that is a disqualification in my book. The referee was wrong more than once.

  • 1:25 - This guy fucks both of them ;-)

  • Dennis Alexio>Branko Cikatic

  • The amazing thing about Alexio was the way he just wore people down. Cikatic look exhausted as did Henegan in the other fight posted on here. Tough fighter.

  • the very young dutch Lumberjack was there:-)

    Peter Aerts for ever!!

  • @makis06

i must have missed him, where is he (what time?) i saw tom harinck was in bronko's corner but i must have missed aerts

  • Dennis is a beast. I've trained under the guy, he kicks a 200 lbs heavy bag and it folds at a 90 degree angle.

  • Cikatic clearly screwed up! And so did the ref! The ref was stepping out, so Dennis went! Dennis was there to win! Period!

  • Yeah but a kick it on the ground? Dennis is a too much of a beast to respect the fight rules

  • @NewFriiiikan branco has fouled people several times in fights including kicking people on the ground.

  • @billysue2

well im not saying its ok im just saying that this was a bad call branko was dq-ed lots of times

  • @crazymike44 I think you should see the fight again. That the referee screwed up, no question about it. How to you blame it on Cikatiç? Do you follow organized fighting? This is not street fighting. The argument that eyes should be on the opponent is valid when the fight has resumed. Apparently that was not clear was it. Also the only possible outcome when acknowledging fowl play is disqualification, yet the referee decided on a Tech. draw. LOL. What an idiot!

  • @chungadaddy I agree with what you said in your next posting! The referee and Cikatic both made an error! Not Dennis! Dennis Alexio did what he was supposed to do! Fight until the ref clearly, clearly, clearly breaks the fighters! Which, according to you, the announcers and everyone else did not happen! Cikatic acted like he was not in a professional fight! "PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES"

Yes, I fought for Jacob "Stich" Duran, ASK the guy in Dennis's Corner with the ASK Jacket on!
