From your specs I take it you have a laptop.

The 4570 has 80 stream processors while the 3870 you see here has 320 stream processors. Do the deduction and start guessing! ;)

Maybe with proper settings you will be fine.

The cpu is not really relevant in this game, since it is capped at 30fps.

The problem lies in your gpu. A 4200 has one of the weakest gpus around. To illustrate it better, a 4200 has 40 shaders, while the 3870 I used in this video had 320!

@toutagamon Does the same thing apply to a 3200? Because the 4200 I have demolishes my 3200. I've met requirements on tons of games, but my CPU usually always falls short of game requirements. I figured most of this out using a game tester for a long list of games, accessing my computer and comparing game requirements to what I have. My video card passes most games, I can play Bioshock 2 for instance on the lowest resolution with the highest graphic detail at 60 fps, or high enough to not notice

And my laptop doesn't support any more graphical related things.

I can play fallout 3 at 28fps+

It doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be playable.

I found the game to be quite light really. It played like that at 1080P too on the 3870, but I had limitation due to fraps recording back then so I made the recording at 1280X720. In native gameplay, it had no problem though.

What card do you have and what CPU? Which resolution are you using?

@toutagamon hey thanks for reminding me hahha apparently, i installed the latest driver, and then accidentally installed the onboard graphics driver too so that made the game choppy and unplayable, well now its butter smooth after i reinstalled all the driver :)

SImply put, that is all this game is.the only option you have is resolution , just like those old roms. and no matter what rez u play, you will get the same shit frame rates..the game locks up for 5-10 seconds at a time in battles..even with the fastest pc on earth this game would fail..i have gtx285, I7950, 12gig ram....YOUVE BEEN WARNED...this XBOX PORT=FAIL 100%. i paid 40 bux for this trash, i feel like i was robbed!!!!

this game dosnt use nvidia physx it uses a diff physx engine. one that dosnt kill the FPS on ATi cards.

This game is awesome....I play it pretty fine on my laptop C2D 2,26 , GF9600 512MB, 4GB ram and it's even on 1280x720...still quite smooth, even though it lags few times in action, but nothing that would harm gameplay too much...I love it =)
