@brunop541 I Wanna Be Your Man is a good index of the difference between the Beatles and the Stones. The Beatles version is all "I wanna hold your hand," while the Stones version with the coruscating slide is more "I'm gonna @#$#@ your brains out!"

This was one of the first things that Mick & Keith ever "wrote." I put the word "wrote" in quotes, because the melody is pretty much just a reworking of the old standard, "One Mint Julep." It was recorded and released as a single by George Bean in December of 1963, with another early Jagger & Richards composition, "Will You Be My Lover Tonight?" on the flipside. It did not chart.
