you don't need to be very bright to work out that the EVO was going to win. It is a much lighter vehicle and the R33 is very heavy. Besides it's the GTS-T model I see here not the GTR. check it out.

el lancer evo 5 es muy buen coche esta hecho con transmision muy resistente y el torque muy bueno aparte q es 4WD..... su transmision esta hecho casi para rally.... miestra q el gt r 33 es un buen coche es xq es un GT R pero la version 33 no es muy buena tiene fallas en el subviraje y..... no tiene 4WD pero es bueno para pike pero no para derrape... si fuera un gt r 34 lo comeria al lancer evolution 5....!!!

None of the Skyline Gtr,s are PERMANENT AWD just the Evo,s. There RWD With a split diff which when traction is lost at the rear wheels they split power to the front wheels too therefore making it a temporary AWD.Very trick bit of kit mind!!! :-)

Very true. That R33 will be dancing on anything not tarmac. The EVO may not be as fast or powerful performer, but its AWD puts down all its power on all four wheels with traction the R33 can only dream of. Still though, both are lovely cars and wouldn't mind owning either.

Yes.. The Lancer Evo 4-6 are the Mirage here in the States but the state yank out the turbo 4g63 and all the suspension and place it with the weak ass SOHC motor from Chysler. If you look under your Mirage it have the tunnel for the AWD shaft. You can basically but a wreck EVO4-6 from Japan and swap everything over without any fabucation.

skylines better in a drag and on the track (if you have the money), don't see many EVO's in touring car racing do you? cause they're crappy on the track, and all professionals know that, but skylines have been on the tracks for years, even been so good that they have to carry weight penalties.
