erm check out the cmos issues with rolling shutter lots on youtube seems for this kind of thing ccd chips are better than cmos

xaiury the image stabalization is only available on 720p 60fps

slyfox20035 who told you that? I have this camcorder and image stabilization works in all modes. The rolling shutter effect is also not as noticable in 1080 60p. I think he was using 720p to really show the effect  off or to save card space.
