I don't know personally, but my opinion is what harder it is, tougher you are. There is "some" violence in army and "Dedovshina" and lot of other stuff going on. Ganging up on new-comers and that sort of things. I don't know how many died - not many anyway. There was recent case. Ever heard of AK-74, AKM? Russia got more than that.

Actually Russia does, there are weapons that you haven't seen before or heard of. Russia doesn't brag about it's weapons on T.V shows like America does, which brings a definite advantage to Russia since we know what you guys have and we can secretly build something to counter it.

I only know a few, but one is some sort of plasma weapon (you might think it's not real), they are experimenting it, not yet fully developed. Faster jets, also with plasma energy, if surface of a plane is covered with plasma energy, the plane will fly 10 times faster, Black Eagle Tank, T-95, AK 108, some new bull-pump version of AK-74U (for special forces) there are most likely ones I haven't heard of, but Russia doesn't show their new stuff until it's almost ready. So basically.......

The US has enough power. VIetnam was different, they lost politically but they did actually win militarily.
Plus the Vietnamese were incredible jungle fighters, US had little experience in the jungle. No tanks used either.
