saw the game yesterday, Rivers has a lot of offensive ability..although it will be interesting to see if he can develop going to his right, as of right now he mostly goes to the left, that scoop layup was performed by him 3 times yesterday and once defenders learn how to defend him they should be able to control his drive a bit better..right now he is not a good defender, but i do see his potential and if he continues to develop he could be a good defender cause he has the tools
@dixie11 yes but he can shoot the three ball and he barely did that, duke is not useing him correctly they are making play like a point guard but hes more like a shooting guard
@sentinel9100 They were doing the opposite with seth curry last year, he was playing a spot up shooter position now they have him running the point and occasionally shift him to the 2 spot, its all bout coach K and the program getting their wins, Its too early to tell but austin rivers def has potential now its all about maximizing that potential and honing and developing his overall skill set, he is a good shooter but more of a streaky shooter, good athlete but not great athlete
