Which ARC jacket is better for riding in Pittsburgh weather conditions? The Mesh or the Textile? And why does the textile one cost so much more than the mesh?

I have this jacket. It's a really good jacket, for cold or hot weather.

Only downsides:

- I find it to be a little short in the front, reaching only to the waist band of my pants.

- The front zipper is exposed. So far no scratches on my tank, though it seems like it wouldn't take much.

- If you wear a back pack the straps cover the vents in the shoulder.

- Do not wear short sleeves with the liner in. If you sweat you will not be getting the jacket off.

Aside from that; great all-around jacket.

@7ru They have a better jacket called Teknic Supervent Pro Mesh Jacket. A bit more pricey but if you want the best... there ya go.

I got the Arc Mesh jacket, the features are all the same in the exception of the vents in the shoulders.

So far the only thing I don't like about Icon jackets is their crappy breakable snaps. Icon, please use METAL snaps, NOT plastic.

They send you replacement snaps with the jacket or pants but they seem to have forgot the snap tool to actually smash the plastic post in the middle to a mushroom.
