I saw it Thursday. I travelled from Italy, planned it for ages and I got Jonathan Williams, Marius was also an understudy - Anthony Hansen.
They were both decent. I love the show so much, but they just weren't the voices in my head, the voices I've heard so often.
Children should NOT be allowed to evening shows and COUGHERS???? Who goes to a show when they have a cough. Bastards totally ruined some crucial moments for me.

I completely sympathize with you regarding the distracting audience members though. I had Japanese tourists sitting behind me, one of whom spent the first half of the show translating into Japanese everything that was said to his companion! If they hadn't stopped doing it I would have turned around and threw something at them!
hes good bu colm has been beaten, John Owen-Jones is much better, love colm but i can listen to JOJ sing Valjeans songs all day Colm i can listen to 3 times
Love the song, but was he like performing at a flu convention or something? SO MUCH COUGHING!

He did a good job. My only problem with it is that the orchestra seems to be on speed.

Lastly, Rebecca Seale plays the character so differently. She's so weak, OTT and a bit crazy. What happened to poise, grace, dignity and fragility?
Still loved the show, it was amazing. Cosette was special too and loved Enjouras/Gavroche and Thernadiers.

I saw it a few weeks ago but we had Simon Shorten as Valjean (he plays Babet normaly, can anyone tell me who that is?)

I went to an afternoon show and the girl in front of me kept talking to the two girls next to her. One of them kept telling her to shut up.
