@Goldmax77 Well aware of that. I also enjoyed the first original "The gamers" a lot. Here it is sadly less of a parody and more of a annoyance. The bard guy is fine (just like bards usually act) the sorcerer too. the female warrior was at first good, when she was still "pure" and then made a turn to the worse until she behaved like the rest of em. The Monk-guy is plain annoying and unlikable. "Smug Bastard" comes to mind. The DM is spineless. No Gm should ever be that spineless.

@thehellofajumper Well aside for the woman it's pretty obvious that they put their character in the PCs or DM action and reasoning. I think it's meant to be like this you know? It means that even with everyone like that they still can enjoy an adventure and have fun if they play along. This it's not a film on the best campaign ever xD

@Goldmax77 but they dont get along. Anyhow the first The gamers was awesome: ill just say so much "I steal his pants!" "Why?" "To see if i can do it!" "*sigh". That is a great example of parody and well allowed in the game, even if silly. Taking a race the Gm prohibits and a class the gm prohibits on the other hand..... that just doesnt fly. No parody there.

@thehellofajumper In my opinion, they sort-of over-stereotyped themselves in the first movie. Of course, they did a lot more things that an actual party of friends would, but this one has its moments, mostly through dialogue instead of action.

@RiceMan9315 they may have over stereotyped in the first movie but i have seen those things happen. I have seen druids get lost in the woods and fall of trees. I have seen characters with dex 12 make impossible akrobatics checks that the rogue failed. I have seen the infamous battleaxe sneak attack (with power attack), i have seen mages carrying a knocked out warrior. What i never have seen is a player that openly acts against the Dms ruling and noone seems to care. Just not going to happen.

@thehellofajumper The DM wasn't spineless in the slightest. He was just at odds with a player that was threatening to completely crash and burn his campaign. You can only say "no, you do it my way" so much when you have a limited number of players to draw on.

@Greyfeld85 Well it seems i have different standards. My bards dont die, my partymembers dont kill bystanders (when playing good or neutral), my gms receive respect even when we have different opinions on rules or the likes, I as a rule dont follow any red lines through a quest. If my char has no reason to defeat the Endboss he just wanders off and i draft a new one, when playing neutral an some evil git makes my char a compelling offer i change fucking sides. Its Roleplay goddammit.
