What I do have a problem with is his total lack of humanistic compassion and tolerance for anything other than His own prescribed 'gospel.'

Nonetheless, I still liked his karma and his world views. He had great energy and enthusiasm that was inspirational. I don't think he ever did anything disrespectful to the other wrestlers, nobody liked him because he was a loner and a talented one at that. His wrestling skills were as good as any of the better wrestlers. Since it's all fake, it's hard to compare it to real fighting. It was a good show.

His match against Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania VI was epic in length. Several of his matches go longer than 5 minutes, his rematch against Hulk Hogan in WCW, his match against Andre the Giant, etc. The ones that were short were written that way because he was so big, he was supposed to overpower his opponents quickly. If he wasn't a good wrestler then none of them are, I don't see his wrestling skills being less or more than others per this being fake. The main thing when you are out there is

And the matches that you mentioned, except for WM VI, are regarded as some of the worse matches in the history of the industry. Watch HBK vs Taker at WM 25: THATS an awesome match! Fanstically built. regardless of being safe or not, and the Warrior was, to his credit, you have to know the ropes and UW did not.

I must confess I am not an avid professional wrestling connoisseur, I would much rather watch UFC or other MMA leagues. I mentioned the WCW match as an example of a match going longer than 5 minutes, not because it is well regarded. I thought it was good because it was so terrible, that only adds to the overall cheesy nature of this. I thought the moves UW knew, he did them well and with decent variety. Athletic guy that didn't pull stupid stunts like I see wrestlers today doing.

Thats cool man, Im a wrestling fanatic for 8 years now and it took me quite some time to realize what was perceived as a good 'worker' inside the industry. If you watch Warrior´s documentary released by the wwe, you´ll see that pretty much nobody holds UW´s skills in high regard. That documentary was WWE propaganda with commentary from company loyalists that got fat paychecks from McMahon. He seems like a loner but I don't think that is a bad thing necessarily. I think he executed his moves as well or better than anyone else, so I say he is a solid wrestler. You rarely if ever saw him misexecute a move in the ring. Well, dropping the issue was supossed to read like a draw, but heck... just when I think Im out... you guys pull me back in! So the UW is a safe wrestler, not a solid in ring worker. Its not his fault that he never learned to wrestle. All these squash matches will do that to the guy. Look at Batista: he had to learn how to wrestle properly when it was already on the rise in the wwe. He said it himself. So it happens. UW could´ve been great. As it is, hes a legend, yes, but only a good one.

I am the only one you are arguing with here. Every wrestler uses the same bread and butter moves in their matches, UW was no different. Shoulder tackle, splash, bouncing off the ropes, I like these moves and I didn't mind seeing him use them every match. He had a few squash matches, most notably against Triple H at WrestleMania XII. That is part and parcel with being the biggest and most cut out there. Agree his career was shorter than it had to be per contract disputes.
