They had stated that the Prime series is over. There isn't going to be a Metroid Prime 4 but the story past it will continue. All of the Metroid games take place in the same universe and timeline, so this statement is rather obvious.

Not to ruin your hopes darksamus8, but.....

It IS impossible to have Dark Samus return, because ALL Phazon is GONE.

Also, the Red Phazon was actually created by Metroid Prime, who basically IS Dark Samus, for "Feeding" Purposes.

So, there is no possibility of Dark Samus returning. Its done for.

@shyheim333 Are you sure? The veteran 100% ending showed what could possibly be one of the hunters from MP:H. I think his name was Sylux. Maybe you got confused? I am very confident that Dark Samus doesn't make an appearance after the credits, even when you acquire a 100% completion. Maybe if you could send me a link for the ending?

Corrupted Phazon Cells combine the Hyper mode....She maybe get causing a Corrupted...as Corrupted Mode or Corrupted Hyper Mode...

She maybe corrupted her Statues at Prime 3 Corruption. When she obtain Hyper Mode as a Armor thing. Hyper mode is a Phazon. Some Aoura Unit dont get corrupted. Execpt Samus. She got Phazon Cells inside of her. Dark Samus have been rebirth. (No genders or Birth).

It`s because Samus`s Phazon Cells connect to Dark Samus....(Connection each other).. That is all i know.

well metroid were able to spawn out of phazon in the first game but Echoes sorta confused me but metroid i dont think are able to tell the diference between sex and metroid prime didnt need to lay eggs... and also he was born from the leviathan but it died many years ago so that y you didnt need to kill it...

As reveled in Fusion Samus has bonded with the suit to the point that it needs to be removed surgically when she is unconscious. Later on the SA-X used fragments of her old suit to well to form. Meaning yes when Prime stole the suit it got her DNA. Plus Scans in Prime 2 revile Dark Samus to be a mixture of Phazon, Metroid DNA and Samus' DNA

all dark samus really was metroid prime reborn, with samus' DNA(i think) and used the phazon suit as a shell. bad example but she is the closest thing to a true antagonist that i know from this current gaming era, like batman and joker in dark knight, they are complete oposites of each other

Wasnt really made by the space pirates. The phazon suit is a rusult of healy phazon mutation on Samus' suit. Of course it could be that the Omega Pirate (or whatever) had something to do with the mutation process, but it's mostly Samus' suit + phazon. Wich is why it was perfect for Prime.

You're right,the Phazon suit was a mutation of Samus' own suit from high levels of phazon(from when the Omega Pirate falls on top of her and spews Phazon onto Samus)

3 games? Ok, Dark Samus did appear in Metroid Prime 1, but only in the ending. So I don´t think you can call it an enemy in this game, if you don´t even know that there will be 2 more games with Dark Samus as an enemy.

But Sylux should really be in another Metroid game, he was my favourite hunter in MPH.

Well, metroid prime IS dark samus. So, she played an important role in the first game. The second game, she had no big role really and then she had the main role again in the third game. Anyway she won't return EVER. Retro is done with prime games, they're done with metroid as well. I don't see another company making a new prime game. There's probably no metroid game in production as well.

All Phazon in the universe was destroyed. Dark Samus is composed solely of Phazon. No Phazon = no Dark Samus. Plus her body completely disintegrated. Nothing left. Nintendo has fixed it so Dark Samus can never return. Ever.

Therefore it would be impossible to be Dark Samus at the end.

It looked Federation Class. I love the ships from the Valhalla, the Stilleto fighters. Well, if you look at the ship @ the end and the Stilleto, they look very similar. Not to mention that the logs say that Sylux stole a ship from the federation. Dread may not be a far cry after all... Samus will truly Dread Sylux in the next game.

Hunters is where it shows that Sylux steals the armor, ships, and weapons from the federation. He also stalks Samus, so that may be why he has access to the Federation's core Prototype weapons.
