  • I love it

  • its too fast i can't follow.. please make it slower so that I can play this song too in the piano.. I like this song very much

  • hey why dont you have the sheet music??

  • @mrshibuyasama He didn't use sheet music. He did this himself by ear probably. I think it says how he does it in the actual video's description where he plays the right and left hand. EPV - Colors (Code Geass OP 1) is the name of the video.

  • yo this is not bad but you forgot the left hand

  • Hey I appreciate the tutorial, but just a suggestion I'm pretty sure the majority who come to watch these vids are amateurs. So posting the left-hand in the info is really not gonna help a lot of us, and really a vid for left hand is pretty necessary. I'm not saying you have to, because I still appreciate you taking the time to do the right hand.

  • nice voice :D

    thanks for the video (K)

  • This wouldve been better if it was slower, i have to pause it every 2 sec :\

  • lol @ 3:00 SHHHHHHH xD great work tho, thanks to awesome vids like this, im starting to get back into the piano

  • I really like that kind of stuff!!... i<3

  • cool this is great do you think you could do any other tutorials cus i want to learn daybreaks bell and loads more

  • 2:53 whos that ?

  • Anyone can give me the chords of this song in Flute , Thanks in advance

    reply please

  • PLZ SLOWER !!! but iz still good! =DDDD

  • I Like the tutorial but its too fast slower please

  • Thanks this really helped. but what about left hand?

  • Thank you for your kindness and generosity of providing tutorial!

This is very helpful for me ordinary player.

Both Code Geass and Kayate no Gotoku are my favorite animes, so I really enjoy many of your works.

  • Same here! :)

  • i love your accent!! people should love you for your voice and piano skills!!

  • Wow cantonese

  • hehe, u need someone to hold the camera or perhaps a mounting

  • Thanks for the Tutorial! man it was hard for me at first.

  • im fine as long as you are showing me how to play it. i dont need like notes. i sometimes play it by ear.. but i mostly look for tutorials like these. NICE VID MAN! sry.. i had to say that

  • This song is quite repetitive. You could have saves alot more time. But oher than that this helped alot!

  • woah O:

    nice acsent xD

  • man it hard too folow yew but it nice

  • i really appreciate for your updating this kind tutorials. i love this song and your piano cover.

  • That didn't help me at all!!!!

You a least say the notes!

  • - Try showing where on the keyboard, for amateur pianists.

    - Try putting the notes into the video to show what one you're hitting, if you catch my drift.

-Also play a little slower between notes and us only on finger

Thats what i realy needed in the begining but then i learned most of it up to the part where "feelings" is used three times in a sentence

  • i don't get it T_T

  • Well, I still wanna ask that have u ever made a sheet of this song after this?

And , by the way, seems that u speak Cantonese, right?

  • Hi there

I haven't made sheet music for this at all - even after I did the video because I've been quite busy.

Also, yes I am Cantonese lol!

  • woot for cantonese! cuz I'm one and awesome playing btw!

  • @ExcaliburStrike you need to go up one man. All of the notes you're hitting need to be shifted up one note, for example: G to A Flat, A to B Flat. Otherwise nice playing :)

  • Dammed it if u really wan teach DO IT SLOWER

  • hmm well the problem is that i studied piano for like 4 years but i never learned to read music lol.. i just know how to play it T_T

  • hey dude u really rock, i already know right hand but cant u do a video with the left one? lol tyvm

  • Hi there

Basically, I made this tutorial with the basis that you guys would use your own rhythms and possibly your own chord progressions as you see fit.

In the video description, I've listed my suggested chord progressions for the left hand.

  • Let me guess ur a japanese??

I think I heard ur mother(or that person that seaked in background) speak a foreign language and I'm sure that it's japanese based on that and ur looks. Am I right or what? ^_-

  • Lol - sorry I ain't Jap.

I'm you're everyday ABC (Australian Born Chinese)

  • ya rock now if i knew how to ue piano piano sheet program i write it down DAM SOME ONE USE YOUR COMP SKILLS loz

  • NB: Read video description first and other comments

  • I learned how to play this in December because of you, so I think you very much. I could never have figured out anything past the right hand for the intro ^.^ 5/5

  • No problems - I'd like to listen / watch to your version if it comes out. Just msg me if it does

  • awesome job man! im gonna practice this for a while :P - lol, 6:34 mom!

  • i cant understand you are so fast i cant keep up T.T

  • nicely done im learning piano and im starting to do anime songs this really helps

In your description what do you mean by min?

    EXAMPLE:|Fmin | Gmin | Emin | Amin <---

  • Hi there - by "min" i mean minor

So for that example, those suggested chord progressions are: Fminor, Gminor, Eminor then Aminor

  • May i ask.what about the backround notes....thats the only thing i wanna ask..:3

  • Hey there - sorry for the late reply.

The background notes - you mean the bass part?

  • Hi there

Read the description first - the chords (bass part) are listed in the video description at the end.

  • Hey men thank you very much, now we know how to play it, thanks so much

  • Thank you!!!! I never would have been able to figure this song out without your video.

    Your an awesome piano player!

  • WOOT TY

  • actually I'm kinda okay with the right hand. But I'm just asking about the left hand... does it have a similar pattern?

  • Hi there - srry I wasn't able to understand your question. What do you mean by similar pattern? Do you mean to ask if the bass rhythm is all the same throughout the song?

Also as a note, sorry I didn't include the bass rhythms because you guys would probably have better rhythms and bass lines than me, but I threw in my "suggested" chord progressions.

  • ok, I get what you mean. It's up to other people to change to base cleft. Ok, I'll go experiment. Thanks very much for this tutorial. This song was very well done.

  • Hi, how long does it take to get to the stage to play by ear? Like 4 years or so?

  • Hi there - hmm I would say at least 4 years because you need to not only have good memory, but a good sense of chord progressions that fit the piece. If you practiced really hard, maybe even less time, but I guess it only works if you like playing the piano.

  • Nice tutorial

i dunno how to play piano, wanna learn it.

how long will it usually takes from beginner level to your level?? (like can be able to play those anime songs)

  • Hi there - hmmm it takes a long time to get to stage where you can play by ear though.

I'm sure that it doesnt take too long to learn where the keys are and to read music.

  • Wow.. tnx a lot man.. (one of the people requesting the tutorial). Helps a lot in combination with the description and ur original video! im already learning from it.. goes a bit slow, but hey.. Im managing ^_^

Again, thanks a lot man! ur awesome!!! B-)

  • there is no left hand?

  • Hi there - check video description

to the end of the video description, there's a guide to the chord progressions I used. left hand is basically dependant on the person's playing style i guess (thats how i work)

  • tahnk you very much for this tutorial!!!!! XD I am one of those who suggested, you to buff a tutorial!

  • great tutorial man :)

its easy to see what notes your hitting now

    thanks ^^

  • Thanks a lot! I don't play piano though, and thus I don;t have one :(

I'm going to convert the notes from this song that were written by you into guitar... thanks

  • hey there - omg that would be soo cool to listen to! I hope people will post video responses of their versions of Colors

Btw - was it any helpful? I understand it's a really bland tutorial

  • It was useful, tutorials don;t need words. Just by watching would be enough, but I suggest on another tutorial in the future...

    - Try showing where on the keyboard, for amateur pianists.

    - Try putting the notes into the video to show what one you're hitting, if you catch my drift.

    Good job overall.

  • you rock man...and code geass too

  • Hey there - so was it any helpful at all?

  • NB: READ VIDEO DESCRIPTION FIRST! Thanks
