Bad blade centering on my China Boker S2 is %$*& irritating. Same deal on my one China made Spyderco
My straight out China labelled Enlans, Ganzos, Navys and SRM (15 in all) are always perfectly centered blades. Who's zoomin' who about quality control? China is kicking Boker and Spyderco's butt on China product...... and China-labelled product remains half the price of the re-badged stuff from Germany and USA. You guys need to bring up your game. Compete or die
My thumb always got pinched when closing S2. Look down and see the SECRET HIDDEN SCOOP-OUT in the metal frame. 5 min. with the Dremel and this scoop out is perfectly revealled, NO MORE PINCHING now. Also adds visual interest. Backup clip fits tip down AND tip up but it doesn't have that odd "Cadillac" fin on the end. Is also thicker. A $6 Kwik-Stud (10 sec. install )gives a thumbstud option and looks cool.HOW DO YOU CENTER THE BLADE ON THESE?

I like it I'm gona go buy one tonight. Definitely got my interest. Boker quality is tricky but the knife looks decent worth a deeper look. Thanks for being a knife nut & buying up everything in sight so that I don't have to & can watch your reviews on them before trying LOL
Man, lately I've had to just stop using forums. I can't handle the lack of intelligence, the idiotic group think, the idea that shit designs deserve respect, the idea that all grinds and all edge types perform equally, etc. Even when you provide strong evidence and data, these people simply can't listen. Either they wont check things out for themselves, they don't know how to set up a proper experiment and/or they simply lack the knowledge to understand the results of their own testing.
Hey, you said they were hit or miss with the Epicenter. That's the Rexford knife they made, right? What happened with that one? I haven't been on the forums much lately, so I haven't heard anything about it. I remember seeing that it was coming out and I was actually excited about it because it looked good, but I am always hesitant when it comes to Boker. They just aren't that trustworthy in my opinion. Their high end knives are often horse shit.
i want to check out the mini resurrections eventually. its been out for a long time. but it looks awesome. jim burkes knives are super sweet. what did you think of the field marshal collaboration with begg knives. ive seen alot of places have this blade sold out already. i hope they get more in soon. that s2 looks like a fricking meat cleaver. holy crap that would do the job. thats decently sharp bro. but it looks super easy to sharpen up cuz of the blade shape. love that blade shape.
Just picked one of these up. I would love the orange Sniper Bladeworks knife this was based off of, but not for $500 on BladeHQ! I think this one is very cool at a fraction of the cost!

I know some people don't care for it, but I really like Boker's aggressive stonewash.

@CanadianKnifeGuy Definately a love or hate design for sure.

I agree with you on SBW's style. The boker version is cheaper and styled better IMO. I also really like the "chef knife" ergonomics of this knife.
