  • where u buy it? can u pliz tell me the store name or the link to buy this newwe adapter

  • @elamorro: It's all over Amazon labeled as "Nintendo 4-in-1 Virtua Retro Adapter" for $12

  • My SNES controller doesn't work. Im trying to play super metroid. Please help!

  • Don't buy it , i just got it today and it have a problem with sega genesis controller , it doesn't go right and the B button mixing between right and B.

and the X,Y,Z are not working too.

  • Don't buy it , i just got it today and it have a problem with sega genesis controller , it doesn't go right and the B button mixing between right and B.

  • So, with this can i play n64 games with a GCube controller?

  • I'm dieing to know what the new is called.

I really want to use my N64 Controller.

  • cool, I heard you can use that with the new GoldenEye game

  • This is kind of a weird question, but how does Goldeneye (wii remake) play with the N64 controller. I'd love to try it. It'd bring back great memories, but I don't want to buy it without first asking someone who has the adapter.

  • @PtGuitarist yeah i want to know the same

  • If I use a SNES Controller for the VC will the controls be the same like for super mario if i use a snes controller will B be run and A be Jump?

  • I thought it was only available in Japan.

  • gd vid , was thinking of buying 1

  • Ok, maybe mine have some soldering issues. Can you please take a picture of the PCB of this adapter ?

  • I have one of these and yesterday I've tryed to play Super Mario 64 trough wad injection. I believe this is the same as the virtual console. Well the analog didn't worked. I couldn't move mario :(

How did you managed it to work ?

  • Is there an N64 converter that interprets it correctly?

  • @HyprdominglFilms not that i know of so far.

  • @flame6753 damn :( what about now?

  • @salisburyschool actually yes! I just ordered it and it should arrive in a few days. I will upload another review of it when I get it. With the new one you should be able to map your L R and Z buttons any way you want!

  • @flame6753 woo hoo thanks broo now i can enjoy goldeneye wii i hate the bloody classic controller pro !?

  • @flame6753

whats the new one u got called?? I need to order one asap lol :)

  • @flame6753 If you don't remind me asking, whats the name of the newer one?

  • @flame6753 So, you say that it maps it correctly, but does it really? I'm thinking about getting one for N64 VC.

  • And, I mean the Gtron 4 in 1 adapter.

  • @flame6753 The Classic Linker N64 should work better for you and I'm looking forward to you making the video for it.and EMS (the makers of the Classic Linker) is a good company I purchased thier USB Gamecube Memorycard so I can backup all my GC saves to my PC.I've seen the Classic Linker N64 on Playasia but I may wait for a cheaper price, what did you pay for your Classic Linker N64. I use a PS2 controller for Smash Bros, I got a PS2 Controller Adapter for Wii Remote to use a PS2 pad as a CC.

  • @flame6753: Is this still the main product people get for gamecube adapters? I could careless about the N64 aspect because Wii64 emulator runs like crap. But for a SoftModded Wii with all the 8 / 16 bit emulators this sounds badass since you can remap buttons in the emus anyway.

Are you sure there is no lag? All I read about it was there was a half second delay.

  • @Paperclown probably not. I had found a better adapter afterwards, as seen in the annotations.

  • @flame6753: ah i have captions turned off.. rewatched it and checked out the classic linker.. all that does is let you use psx & ps2? that sucks,i wanted to hookup my real nes/snes and sega

  • @HyprdominglFilms the classic linker for n64 has changeable controls

  • Thanks, this was helpful.

  • friend code?

  • ok koo thanks,i just got me a GC controller works the same with some n64 games

  • what the name of the adapter

  • @infamousxx title

  • If anyone can help, I have a few questions about this...

    * The manufacturer is "GTron" right?

    * Have you tested to see if there's any controller response delay? (I've heard a couple "rumors" that this may be a problem)

    * Are N64 mem-packs or rumble supported?

    Thanks!

  • @Nintendough Rumble does not work, VC Games had rumble disabled, and the emulator Wii64 doesn't support the rumble pak with this adapter, the rumble on the emulator does work with the GCN controller however.

  • Okay, I got it, but something is very wrong, when I plug in the n64 controller, it like disconnects then reconnects rapidly like the controller is broken or something, it has to be the adapter because the controller runs just fine on my 64, any ideas on how to fix this? The sega genesis port works perfectly flawless by the way.

  • I just bought mine yesterday, One thing I wonder is why do they not sell these at like Walmart or Gamestop? Oh well, but I use emulators on my modded wii so the L and Z issue is not a problem because you can set the controls yourself.

  • There must be some way to switch the button layout, the Z L thing is really a disappointment. I just got this today, the only option i see is to either open it and switch the connections (but i assume it'll be small electronics) or hack the virtual console gamecube layout. Has there been any fix that you know of?

  • cool vid i want a wii i did not know you cud get this i only want a wii for zelda 64 lol

  • weird, the n64 part was completely unusable for me, the thumb stick was fucked and all the buttons were too eratic and like it had auto fire on, but only with n64.

  • This adapter can also hook up the master system and commodore 64 controllers through the genesis port, but I am not sure whether it will actually work or not.

  • haha! i wonder how an original gamecube controller would handle in mk wii!

  • Are you CHAiN-ACE on the Smash Boards forum? Cause I read the same review there. ^^

It kinda sucks that the L and Z and switched. But I think I'd prefer the gamecube controller anyways.

  • Yup lol.

  • Okay, just thought I'd ask. ^^

  • How is the port of ssb64 to the virtual console?

  • they released in usa like a week ago for virtual console. Plays just like the original

  • That's really good to hear, does it have an online feature?

  • unfortunately not :(

  • Pretty cool. Wish there was a way to switch button layouts. Oh well, I want NO johns when we play Smash 64 =D
