MY GOD. There is not one song from this movie that I don't like! A talented bunch of people! And hold on Diana, we still need you! BTW, so excited to be singing "Home" in choir!
This brings back memories of when I played the "Cowardly Lion", oh boy It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnn. *growls... HA HA HA YEAH!!!!!!
@shannagirl11 I'm not going to lie. I was watching The Wiz the night before Lena Horne died. I thought to myself, "It;s going to be awful when we lose Lena." The VERY NEXT DAY. It was a strange coincidence.
This movie is amazing. I watched it all the time as a kid, and matter of fact, I just watched it the other day. Still as good as it used to be. The Tin Man is the best! "The genius who created me only took care of my dashing good looks, my razor sharp wit and my irresistible attraction to the wrong women!"
This is one of the best movies ever!!! IT's soo funny, and this is one of my favorite scenes. Along with "Thats my name. Fleetwood, coup de ville. My mama had high ideas, y'know what i'm sayin'??" LOL
@ShibaGurl LOL.....it's mine too. I loved this movie so much I Had to buy it for my niece and nephew when they were six months old and they love it now!!!
Yeah psaxo - I know exactly what you mean about that section of music - that bit it hits me every time - those horns blended in over a high hat open symbol really give that phrase that pinnacle disco sound. This piece of music is very cleverly written and arranged.
