I was actually watching this DVD just a minute ago, Danny Fairbrass never, ever said anything like 70lb! This is in Berkshire (20 mins from me), you'll not get anything over 50lb in the waters around here.

Yes, when under pressure the rigs bead will pull free and allow the hooklink to simply slide off. Hooks? They're some of the best on the market. I've not spoken to anybody who has had marker floats, spods or any other items snap or break including myself.

I totally agree with you man. I try to fish the river near me as often as possible, mainly because There are so many different fish in there, every time I hook one I don't know whether its a pike/trout/walleye/goldeye/etc its great.

Yes, when under pressure the rigs bead will pull free and allow the hooklink to simply slide off. Hooks? They're some of the best on the market. I've not spoken to anybody who has had marker floats, spods or any other items snap or break including myself.

I like this, the commentator makes some good points and you can definately see the carp reject the round boilie. would be a great place to fish down there, also the bigger carp didn't seem to root as much as the smaller ones. Would have liked to have known water temp and cloud conditions but what ever.
Also - those are 30+ LBS! not Kilos lol. a 70lber would have been enormous!!!!

I totally disagree. I've caught 20 and 30 pound carps bowfishing and none of them were ever this fat. By the looks of this, this is about double the size of the 30 pounders I've caught. This thing is HUGE!

Seriously mate, Its not anywhere near 70lb. Its about 30-35. Hes saying we have fish this sort of size and bigger and you think if that was 70lb on korda he would have been going APE. Trust me you do not sound very experienced, Ive caught hundreds and hundreds of carp from 1lb -58lb and this is no where near 70lb. Its between 25 and TOP wieght is 35lb. The guy even says upper 20s, lower 30s in the swim feeding as hes watching the fish you claim is 70 lol, do me a favour.

Their considered a introduced pest and have ruined inland rivers.
i have lost count of the carp that i have pulled out of the Darling river and killed (its illegal to release them).....
Its a funny thing that you guys fish for them and get excited about them when in Aussie we are activly trying to eradicate them LOL
