Regarding the topic of eye shine. This definitely isn't an animal in this video. We've always recognized this as the reflection of a metallic and glass object which comes into focus shortly after it's first recognized. Had we considered this a possible case of eye shine we would have acknowledged this upon release. Our primary intent is to draw people's attention to the sound captured during this event.

From 11:30 on you clearly have eye glow to the left of the tree

I believe the "eyeshine" you're seeing is actually a light on an electrical box or electric meter. If you go from the "eyeshine" down, you'll see that it is on top of a box with a strip that runs underneath on the edge of the house next to a window.

If you pause the video at 11:47, you can see it a lot clearer when the image focuses in.
