"WE ARE SHADWELL THE KENNEL IS OUR PLACE, SHADWELL NEVA NEVA SHALL LOSE FACE, THO THEY HATE US WE COULDNT GIVE A TOSS, SHADWELL ALWAYS ALWAYS WILL BE BOSS, SHADWELL ARMY SHADWELL ARMY"
I know it's entertainment but it's nothing like the real thing.
Show me a video of Tottenham in the North Bank at Highbury in the late seventies
and I'll remember how REAL it was.
Prancing about like a Sunday stroll - NEVER.
When I used to do this type of thing it was bloody frightening but afterwards the elation of coming out without too many whacks or kicks was second to none as any fan of any team will tell you.
I was in the KOP at Valley parade day they fimed this jus remember watchin it thinkin why do they keep arrestin that man an then lettin him go over an over little did i know they were retakin the scene ..............good effort coverin pulse o west yorkshire and yorkshire cable signs lol
at 2 mins and 30 secs the kid on the right in the red jacket and yellow scarf is me!!!! Got paid £80 to shout for 2 days and got 2 days off school!!!!

No the people that spend their time kicking the shit out of each other and supporting a bunch of overpaid wifebeaters are a waste of space actually asshole ..................
Thats the best thing about the film, it relates to all in that era instead of being one team which others hate would lose fans from watching the movie....
Cracking scene my favourate bit in this ground breaking, suprisingly made by the BBC film. Which along with its predecessor, The Firm, paved the way for football factory, green street hooligans and ofcourse rise of the foot soldier. Does anyone know who the scores by in this sequence? It does sound like Marillion
sounds a bit obcure to me. i would have tought its clearly Millwall. we are shadwell the kennel is our home. it doesnt take a genuise. the BBC wouldnt be bothered about what a small teams mob in S.Wales were up to
You're obviously not very clued up on this type of thing/aren't involved in it. That Reading v Swansea game was the first one in British football where riot police were called, and in 1984 Swansea boys had the balls to shout up in the Millwall end. Granted they got a bit of a kicking but it's another blow to your post, ask any Millwall lads who were supporters back then.
The first time I saw riot police (with helmets and sheilds) used inside a football ground was at Brighton in 1977-78 when they were called to cope with hundreds of Wall fans in Home end.
1:36 fucking best moment
