  • You do a good job with the presentation of this. I am going on a juicing adventure bc of health concerns and want a quality machine.

  • Its really hard to read the red letters with the video as background. Just FYI...

  • The Omega Vrt juices oranges and pineapple quite easily, with a very dry pulp.

  • Is this review specifically designed for the hearing impaired?

  • @DeluxeGoldTop Yeah, yeah I know. I've been worded up on the lameness of not talking many times. Did this video years ago and didn't get the process very well. Didn't like my voice either. My wife says when I talk she gets sleepy. So I didn't talk. Got another updated one with narration on it in the works. Just been too busy with work lately to finish the thing.

  • @JuicerReviews It doesn't need narration. it is very concise. Thank you for posting it. So you would highly recommend this juicer?

  • @JhonathanFree Thanks for the kind words. I mostly get hacked at on here. Anyway, I do like this juicer the most because of price, versatility, size/weight, ease to clean, and sound level. I'm not super scientific about it. I just go with what I feel works best in my reality. I have also lent juicers out to my friends and the majority of them come back with this one as the favorite. Especially friends with small kids who like to grab and lose parts.

  • @JuicerReviews Thanks alot! Most people that see this like it I'm sure. The negative losers are usually the ones with the biggest mouths. LOL. Keep up the informing!!! Thanks!

  • uuuuggggrrrrnnnnt!

  • i heard that cucumbers are not recommended>what do you thing? or how is it that i have to cut them up before feeding it thr?

  • @belbel77 Never heard that cucumbers were not recommended to juice. I'll have to research that. The feeding tube is small so you do have to cut produce up into smaller pieces. This keeps the juicer from getting over loaded and helps it do a more thorough job of juicing. I've found that overall the better juicers require you to cut produce into smaller pieces. If you are always in a hurry and want to make juice fast, get a centrifugal juicer. Juice quality and yield suffer though.

  • @belbel77 We just made cucumbers with tomatoes and carrots. Very tastey. There are no problems making cucumbers that we know of, or had. They go through good. We don't peel them either. We (my wife and I) have an Omega 8001 that we got at a silent auction for 35 dollars...it's like new, without extra accessories though but so far, the regular screen does fine.

  • Kuvings multi-purpose juicer may juice wheat grass as well~

  • too much white in desing.

  • its so noisy

  • I wouldnt waste my money!

  • @black7jesus it aint a waist yo. its one hell of an investment tho!

  • Don't spend money on an expensive juicer and a ton of fruit. You'll gonna spend a ton of money on this juicer, a ton of money on fruits that'll just end up rotting in your fridge, plus you'll have all the mess to clean up afterwards!

Just go to juiceberg's channel...they will hook you with awesome juice! My family is crazy about it. And it's a cheaper option without all the hassle and waste!

  • @MrPenguinfeather Haha! Monavie is overpriced, glorified apple and pear juice (it's primary ingredients). With this juicer you can juice dark leafy greens and herbs. And therefore make much more nutrient dense juices. Monavie tastes like sugary cereal whereas the juice you can make with a high quiality juice has a deep complex flavor.

  • I dunno about this.

I've been looking at slow juicers lately but it seems like an awful amount of work for a small amount of juice.

I'll still stick with my centrifugal juicer for now . which whips out a good 2 litres in half the time.

  • Oh that is cool as anything! It's nice to find someone like you who can say from experience what's better than what. I don't like eating carrots but I love drinking carrot juice. If only it wasn't so expensive in the stores! I'll have to take a look at the price of this and really think about it first. I have the Magic Bullet with the juice extractor attachment and that's all I have to work with at this time.

  • @Lavenderrose73 My mom believe that you should consume the fiber also. She brought Montel William's Healthmaster, (made by Tri-Star.) That leaked and customer service was a bad joke. So I checked YouTube and found out that Kitchenaid's 56 oz blender for $99 worked better than the professional blender top smoothie shops owns. The Blendtec and Vita Mix. We tried it out today. I blended a frozen orange within seconds. I'm tossing my cheapo blender and buying the kitchenaid.

  • @12quillemall5321 Yeah, I've been told the same thing. But I have a feeling I'll have more nutrients from carrots by juicing them since it's the only way I'll give carrots a second thought. I have the vita mix blender too, kinda stopped suddenly, I probably had too much stuff in it or something, but maybe it just needed time to cool off. I could probably try using it again. I enjoy carrots blended with orange juice too, but I guess I have to watch how much orange juice I take in each day.

  • That pulp seems to have more liquid left than what comes out of my Oster centifuge type juicer. My pulp is dry and flaky. And I can juice parsley and celery in my juicer.

    Sorry not buying it.

  • @12quillemall5321 Really! I'll have to google that one.

  • @12quillemall5321 Just looked at a review of one of them and expected to see this $500 price tag but saw only $89 instead. Beats the snot out of the multi-hundred dollar ones! Another page had a list of different ones of various prices. How much did you pay for yours. And which model do you have? Right now I just have the Magic Bullet and don't know when I'll be able to get a better one but I like to know for future reference.

  • @Lavenderrose73 Mine is no longer available and it cost about $150. I checked oster and this is the closest in strength.

Oster® PRO Wide Mouth Juice Extractor Model: 3168-PRO

  • @12quillemall5321 Oh, I just saw this one. It didn't show in my inbox, I just happened to glance down and see another comment addressed to me. Thanks, I'll take a look.

  • @12quillemall5321 ...by the way, it STILL beats the snot out of $500. Lol

  • Can you juice wheatgrass with this one?

  • @freelancejy Yes you can juice wheatgrass with this one. That's one of the reasons I like it so much. I juice kale, spinach, wheatgrass and other leafy greens. My nutritionist was shocked when I told her I was juicing kale. She said that was one of best things I could do for myself. I buy that produce at a farmers market on Sundays.

  • @insaneshane84 Obviously you know nothing about juicers

  • Comment removed

  • If we all juiced this way...there would be no need of meat...me thinks...save maybe fish?

  • LOLMAN22: It's pretty good...it juices greens very well. I have made some nice juices. I am glad to hear that whiny sound in the demo video; I thought there was something wrong with it. I tried the pineapple and it did clog it...I used to have a centrifugal juicer that seemed to juice it pretty well, but perhaps I am not remembering correctly. It is a lot easier to clean and assemble. I wonder why, when they redesigned the Omega 8006, they did not widen the hopper? I like the Omega, though!

  • I just ordered the Omega 8006 and it is supposedly an improved juicer so I am a little pumped!

  • so how is it? :P

  • @dearyogini the only difference between the 8003 & the 8006 is basically the auger. the auger in the 8006 is 8x stronger. the on & off switch is located in a different place. basically the same juicer. I just got the 8006 a few days ago & I think it's a great juicer. I had a centrifugal before & it sucked compared to this one. you get a lot more juice with this type of juicer. I see you made your comment 2 months ago, so how do you like it?

  • @starbuck680 : I really like it--I was amazed at how well it juices greens. You have to put a little effort into pushing carrots through and the chute is a little narrow (don't get that). But a dry pulp and quiet operation...

  • @lemurianchick I Like mine too. I think it's the best juicer in that price range. Yeah you got to push on it a little with carrots. It's a minor gripe, no big deal. Yes the pulp is very dry compared to a centrifugal type juicer. You can even put the pulp through again to squeeze it even more if you like. Can't beat that 15 year warranty.

  • You could have SAID the info displayed on-screen rather than apply textual info. Or does your cat have your tongue??

  • @Pinstripedtie Yes the cat has his tongue. I was there when it happened.

  • Great vid :)! I have a question, as far as i understand then this one and Oscar VitalMax 900 are both identical and simply sold under different names. Is it really the perfect juicer in ~200$ price range? Cause im going to mostly juicing carrots and beet roots, should i be looking elswere and get for example vertical auger juicer, tho its more expensive and cant make pastas etc?!

  • You can also run the pulp back through the juicer to get the most out of the fruits and veggies you juiced!
