They are 2 wildly seperate cars designed for completly different types of racing
European cars typically have smaller displacement but rev higher and cost more due to expensive suspension making them ideal for tracks
American cars cost less use cheaper suspensions and get all of there power from a large engine displacement making the i deal for a 1/4 mile
However a Z06 (especially the leigenfelter) has worked the weight distribution to make american muscle more "european"

the porsche is not built to run a straight line, sure tuned big blocks are better than tuned porsches.but a track wth curves the big block is to heavy and the porsche has way better handling and his weight is maybe the half(I dont know)

I am a Mopar man through and through. There is no better muscle car engine than the Hemi. However I also like Porsche. In fact my uncle was killed in one when he was out driving on the highway and hit the back of a semi-trailer going 120 plus. The semi was going slow up a steep grade. The Hemi is a the best engine for the Drags. The Porsche is one of the best for road races, or the U.K. This has nothing to do with the state of our countries. It's just car talk.
