My church where I went to school sings the Gloria this way...it's one of my favorites, it's so beautiful. Back home, however, we don't even sing the Gloria...it's just spoken. The same with the responsorial psalm...and it makes me sad because I love singing in church.

This is my FAV mass setting!! My current church changes Mass settings every Sunday; they either use the Hertiage Mass Setting or the Mass of the Creation Mass setting; even though it is in the missal and the priest or Msgr sings the Mass of Creation setting.

Please watch the "r" sound on "earth." It's important to make sure that this one doesn't drag too much either. The phrases are long so it's easy to get slowed up.
