Was just listenin to some old Beyer stuff. Why have so many techno greats startin swayin towards this minimal sound?!! it really pisses me off, Carola and co. Even Speedy and some of Beyers new stuff. This is a good track but does have that mininal touch to it.

It's an exploration of different sounds and styles. There will be a techno renaissance in the future, maybe from your heroes or maybe from new heroes. Everything gets recycled eventually, as we run out of ideas.

The Advent and Industrializer have been throwing out some great tracks!! Also see the Advent not so long ago, he played a great live set but Oliver Ho played after and was the set of the night for me!! Yeah, still some good guys out there, but it would be good to see the likes of Beyer and Carola going back to their roots.

Ya prob right there. Iv seen sets by Beyer and Speedy not so long ago and they were good sets! Not pure driving techno but still ok, not this shite,flat bleepy stuff that seems to be doing the rounds. I bought loads of vinyl the other month and it more or less all ranged from late 90's to early 2000. Top stuff back then.

i miss umeks production the most, his old techno style was bomb, now he's playing some newage tech-minimal which is not bad, just his old style will always be in our hearts as great true techno music :)

@cryptopsy666alas I myself am tired of the F'n blip blop! When is the ultra multi layered hyper accelerated DMT inspired techno going to make a come back. This dink doink shit is just plain booring!!!!! Music needs to embrace inter dimensional vibrations and tempo's!
