Great informative vid, will share. There is no better feeling than knowing you have saved a life when you adopt a rescue cat or dog, if they have slight problems it is an absolute joy to reap the rewards of helping them get through any little issues they have, that is caused by stress of being unwanted. Hope you will check out my Restrict breeding group on facebook. When you buy from breeders you take away the opportunity of the animals life you could have saved.

I only support getting animals from shelters, rescues, and responsible breeders, they are the ones who dedicate their time to help animals and care for them. responsible breeders support rescues, and shelters.Shelters, rescues, and responsible breeders care for the dogs in their care. Take your time, research the various breeds, and FIND a reputable hobby breeder. Hey, I waited over a year for my dog (from a reputable breeder who does not mass produce dogs). My dog is 11 yrs old, and I still keep in touch with the breeder for advice. ADOPT or use a reputable breeder.

I just rescued a little girl from OC Pom Rescue. She was in a puppymill and is about 12mos-14mos. She has already had a litter and was debarked there. She is so sweet and incredible and wants to please.  I love her so much!!!!!!

@buckheadlooker While it's okay to buy from a RESPONSIBLE breeder for the sake of the preservation of a certain breed, buying "designer" dogs or from puppy mills needs to STOP. If everyone got their pets from a shelter, the shelters would be empty (which is GOOD).

@ingodwesee Because there are STILL too many dogs (& cats) dying in shelters nationwide, & breeders simply add to the problem. Wrap your mind around the number of 4-6 million, which is the # of dogs & cats killed in US "shelters" every YEAR.
