  • I just played this song for an hour... I only know the modulation part, but it was still amazing.

  • @xBaronSamedi Keep it up, sir. This song took me quite awhile to get right. It's simple in structure, but you've got to dig deep to find the soul. Practice till your fingers bleed...Literally! The payoff is worth it ;)

  • @icyur241 Anyone have a tab for it? Im assuming its in a pretty funky open tuning of some sort??

  • @Cwoessner26 It's DADFAD Just Google it for tab. Fun song to learn!

  • kudos brother, thou art there.

  • @gogsisgod Haha! Thank you sir!

  • I love this kind of blues guitar. you really cant get no better than this. this is back porch rockin at its best.

  • @8ender8Rodriguez Agreed.

  • yes. what in the world are you doing NOT playing this for folks. i’m tempted to say this is even better than the film version.

  • @danielcarltondesign Very kind words, Daniel. I am honored that you would say this. All the best!

  • @danielcarltondesign Thanks so much, Daniel! All the best...

  • I'm busy but still found myself stopped listening to this repeatedly. I could listen to this for hours. Extremely well done. Hearing something like this amazes me how people with little talent can so often become famous with a gimmick but then how many amazing musicians like this gentleman so often don't... Here's to hoping you do make it because this is outstanding.

  • @TheNewDallasMan This may be the most inspiring comment I've ever recieved to date. Lately, I haven't picked up the guitar as often as I should, so thank you for the reminder. Your kind words are powerful and affective. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

  • @TheNewDallasMan -sadly it's all about pretty faces & big bucks. The guy who just won the Latest Australian Idol is just about a dead ringer for Justin Bieber. Sure he may have a good voice but the music is (excuse the language) homogenised shit. A true talent requires development to polish it, this can take years to become professional & build up a fan base. The record companies probably don't plan for these kids to have any longevity. Theres nothing unique about them that sets them apart

  • Can´t stop hearing it. Best version in my opinion. Thank You for this version.

  • @Ethrex888 Wow...Thanks for the compliment! I guess I should start playing it around town then. ;)

  • Well done my friend. Played it with an impressive amount of soul.

  • You have captured the spirit of this song brilliantly. well done!

  • @bean2tenn Thank you very much!

  • love this song !

  • Just watched the movie, this sounds great!

  • Very nice job!

  • @MJoe01 Thanks!

  • hei, you did a great job there. after i had seen the movie i wanted to learn this tune, sadly the tabs i've found didn't sound similar in any way... yours sound pretty accurate so would you please send me a link to where you have found them, or did you make them on your own. thy

  • @Fidelisadmortem Hey there...Try this: google "hard time killing floor blues tabs skip james" click the one in ultimate-guitar...should be close. I think this is the one I used to learn the guitar part and I tailored it slightly to make it my own. It's a blues song (a really really good one) so adding your own style is quite appropriate. If you have any other questions, just let me know. Good luck!

  • @icyur241 thank you a lot :) the tabs are great and fine to learn, i just have to figure out the right rhythm at some parts. do you know some other blues songs similar to this one and "same" difficulty? big thank you :> take care

  • @Fidelisadmortem

Buy the songbook for the album its got everything, i paid $7 so its worth the price. I learned Man of Constant Sorrow as well and with little ease adapted it with many variations like Bob dylans.

  • @bobbyak47 i will do that. thank you 2

  • This is one of my favorite camp fire tunes to calm all the drunks down. Nice job my friend.

  • @luken5 Haha! Thank you...Love calmin' the drunks down.

  • @luken5 Feels good to calm the drunks down...Thank you!

  • Awesome! If you want to learn guitar, just remember...PATIENCE is KEY! It doesn't happen overnight, but the pay off is well worth the investment. I've been playing for 15 years & it is still my favorite hobby besides snowboarding. Good luck!
