@tyhdavis hmmm.........its mine too but you have too understand that this song wasnt severely underated by the generation of real rave culture!!!! to us it was just as brilliant then as it is now your probably a bit young to remember those days 91-98 totaly different rave generation for one our x was real and not asperin toxins and baby laxatives lol there wer djs but mostly they wer bands so i think people wer more loyal too the bands then the dj of that era but its cool u looked too the past
@asztapaszta9 cause electronic music it´s bigger, I think i haven't heard some really good tracks too, not the case with Minstream-MBM but maybe others.
Satyricon is up there with Violator, Screamadelica, Blue Lines etc... an essential record! Is it only me who thinks the album doesn´t sounds loud enough?
No, it def needs to be re-mastered and this remix should be included. It may sound like the original, but there were some add-ons that make this version even sicker.
this tune is top, i'm not one for lyrics but this track carries the essence of Kraftwerk into breakbeat realms and that is musical evolution at its finest
AMEN brother ! unfortunately, I can't play loud music here and face my neighbors in the morning ;(
but the HEADPHONE experience is not to be missed for the SUBLIMINAL sounds - Jack is no slouch when it comes to lacing dope beats with a message beyond the obvious lyrics - peace ^^
oh thank god.....you guys have no idea what I have been through....i was watching some Combichrist and Angelspit videos and I thought I wasnt going to make it...thankfully Jack is here to save me from the crap
Satyricon was the album I had my first hallucinogenic experience with mushrooms with.
And I made love to that album like it was God.
I still keep that CD in it's gem-case, locked away in my closet for safe keeping, when it's necesary to provide a positive atmosphere with up-beat music, constantly, for over 60 minutes.
Walking around my college campus with headphones on, while nobody noticed why I was smiling so widely and my pupils were dilated was fun though. Loads of fun.
satyricon os one of my fav albums back in 1992, together with orbitals brown album, the orbs u.f.orb and experience by the prodigy... great times, being a slave to the rhythm!
It is really scary how great this band still is after almost 20 years of listening to them. I do think that this song is timeless. Thank you for the post.
"I freaked out very, very badly..... uh, I don't think I'll take acid again though before I thought that was the best thing in the world. I never want it again.....never acid again "
