  • you cant rescue this engine xD

  • 2 strokes do that. it is normal. and you said you did alot of work to it? sometimes that will happen if you run a high compression kit with a stock piston and you dont jet the engine rich enough. thats what happened to me on my blaster i bought it off this guy who had a cast piston, high compression kit, and the thing was lean as all hell. and my piston looked just like that one, shredded top end, blown intake skirt on the bottom.

  • 0:27

    NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  • im surprised it lasted that long if you treat the engine like the rest of the doo! that thing was an F$%K(NG mess inside ever wash it clean it ADD OIL to it

  • how old are the mashine?

  • wear and tear dude, besides that thing is ancient, time to upgrade to a real seadoo

  • I have a sea doo it fliped over twice

  • Bullshit, you thick? Do you not use oil? Your engine got that hot, you evaporated the ocean, caused global warming, and blew up your piston and melted the top... don't think it just happens.. snowman talks snow from his ass, bit of luck and he'll melt like that holy ass peice of shit did..

  • crank seals my frend that will brake the piston squrts looks like a fun rebuld tho

  • should of checked out the crankcase cus my blaster's cases got big cracks when the piston shatterd and it was letting tranny oil in and it was a disaster.

  • Looks like you were running lean. notice the top of the cylinder its all warped and deformed. When you run lean your piston don't get lubed and cooled properly and extreme heat is formed by friction and lack of oil on the piston and that how your piston blew.

  • shit happen dude loll

  • it could be becuase of the age of the jet ski but it can also be that you prooly treated your jet ski also you probly did not run the jet ski with oil

  • is that the intake side of the piston, because on my buddy's indy 650 snowmobile, it was running a bit lean = hot.. and some water from his air box got sucked in the carb, and when that happens it can shatter the intake side of the piston skirt.

  • always check your oil.

  • my god that piston got fucked up shit happens man

  • atv motor banshee

  • collapsed skirt eh that kinda sucks but it happens

  • manufacturing flaw that's how

  • 2 words. piston slap

  • The Motor was getting too much fuel.... and a weak casting in the piston.. get a forged piston or something better then stock!!! Yea... That does suck... My car did that... Opps...

  • i just took apart my 06 cr85r today and that same thing happened to me

    it sucks

  • 125yzmannen has got the right theory but thats not totaly y the reason is is yes the cylinder was worn it was worn big enough to where u got some piston slap or w/e and all that slapping finaly broke the skirt off thats verry common

  • in my experience with the sea doo engine. its 10x easier to work on those motors if u just take it out.lol..seems wierd but only 5 bolts and hoses hold it on..saves alot of sweat and busted nuckles

  • listen to the kid screaming help me in the bakground :o

  • You can break a piston like that by over-revving a worn engine.

  • all u guys are dumb asses nothing was wrong probably these things just happen

  • turns out snowman is right. other then running a bit rich, it was really just wear and tear.....now shes got a 750 cc in her :D

  • @LithuanianDream Running it rich would not harm the engine, it would actually help it last longer.

  • wow straight u forget to mix idiot

  • faulty piston probely...or you where having way too much fun for that seadoos rating

  • by the looks of the top of the piston it look like a bearing was coming apart and if you look at the head there might be a piece of whatever it was still stuck to it. or a ring broke. I dont think it was because of running lean, because it normally burns the top of the piston to wear you get a hole in it.

  • check the ports and see if it look like something like a circlip or a bearing cage came apart and got stuck on the port when the piston was on its way back down. if seen this a few times not to much on seadoo but once.

  • damn dude

    you owned yourself,that sucks

  • Improper break in, not enough oil, and running lean. That is how this is done. Its very common for someone who has no idea what they are doing to have engine failure such as this. Premix with your oil injection during break in, let it warm up, confirm proper tolerances, check your wash and plug chop.

  • Nope, had nothing to do with that...

That is simply a worn out piston, stock cast pistons like to crack after lots of use... Nothing more than simple work hardening.

  • seems like the circlip wasnt put in properly......

  • you blew the shit outta the piston

  • "BUT SERIOUSLY HOW DOES IT DO THAT" well fuck its something called FRICTION, just give thanks that piston didnt end up your asshole. lmao

  • hahahaha

  • @ultramaxracing05 friction doesnt blow motors. its too much stress or strain on weak areas at REALLY high rpm that cause this shit to happen

  • i hope im not the only 1 to notice but is that a little girl in the back ground either being raped or beaten ? lol

  • HAHA at the very beggining and towards the shes screaming too wow

  • hahahahahaha lmfao hahahahaha ya i here that shit to

  • holy scoring...you need a shitload more oil

  • its called piston slap which is common with two strokes, i had a old yz 125 1988 with original piston and cracked the skirting off the piston like yours and jammed the motor up but leaving no damage to the bore.

  • how is it common,, u definitly dont want it

  • Its common on a motor which needed rebuilding but didn't and finally the piston broke

  • runing it to hard the steel can heat up and crack the same thing hapened to my jet skee right in the middle of the lake

  • U run it to hard

  • pistons break that that when the piston to cylinder clearance is too much and the piston wobbles back and forth.... at high r's its slams the bottom of the cylinder and your done

  • yea, i needed a bottom end on my kx100 and i tried to ride the bike around when it need a bottom and, and i cracked my piston and broke my rings, nasty sound.

  • yeah well its a kx100. sounds pretty faggy. so it needs to die.

  • lol

  • looks like you blew a skirt there bud

  • looks like that might have been a bad piston or you ran it to lean.... engines just blow up after along time if you are really hard on them

  • i let my freind barrow my chainsaw. he came back sayi it was shit so i took it aparst and sure enough disintergrated piston

  • it was probably already strainedso running it at high rpms will finish off the piston and yor lucky you didnt get a pistion up your asshole

  • did u forget to mix in the oil or somthing

  • that there is one of the mysteries of life. have no clue how or why the skirt would break off there but it did.

  • god damn id kill that lil bitch in the background screaming....just buy a used piston and used head and sell that pos for 300 bucks ....problem solved ....

  • easy. your cylinder wore out on one side faster then the other causing one side to knock a little more and broke part of it off.

get that cylinder re bored. it happened to my friends cr80 3 times b/c he never got it re bored.

  • I think that girl really was being raped or kidnapped or something. I swear she even screams help me!

  • HOLY SHIT theres a little girl screaming for mommy arent you going to do something shes probably getting raped or something

  • it seizes and then the piece that snapps of sticks to the cylinder wall then the piston comes back down smashes it off and throws it about till its ground down and knackers ure bore and ure bottom end gotta be carefull if it cracks a water jacket ure fuked coz it will fill ure engine with water when u put it back in ..

  • Stop wasting your time and pull the motor out. Hone it/bore it if needed and install a new piston, wrist pin, whatever is not still good and buy a gastket kit. Bolt together, place in jet ski and go ride.

  • very right, its a very simple fix and you are lucky thats all it was. you need to buy a

$10 hone, new piston and rings, gaskets, and your good to go.

  • bin running to lean bin through loads of pistons on my dt50

  • i blew one the other day, thank god i didnt have to pay for it, i love having rich friends

  • i say you bore and hone it out because im very shore you dammaged the cyninder walls

  • just get a new piston

  • ive done it to a yz 85 dirtbike its normal

  • did the rings forge together aswell? and did oyu end up puttin in a repaired motor/used/rebuild or did u get a brand new engine. i think we might up our engine now that we took everything out. the whole engine bay is bare.

  • might be cheaper to go that route.

gauge the cost of a new engine with the cost of a tear down and rebuild.

when metal breaks like that, you gotta split the case and clean it to make sure fragments arent still in there to haunt you later.
