  • Having looked at several of these videos I find the majority show black or coloured women in the USA.I have always found the term African American rather strange given that the great majority have never set foot in Africa & have little in common with say Xhosa or San women. .I was recently in Pondoland & spent some time watching a young girl help her mother collect shell fish I remember thinking what a beautiful face she had in some ways much more beautiful than a lot of the women in these films

  • Where's Corrine Bailey Rae in this video ? Nice nonetheless

  • These ppl are stupid talking abt whether they're mixed or not. When according to US law (and I don't believe it was EVER AMENDED) any Black IS Black. So then we are not looking at "how Black" are we?! - since there is no such thing. We are looking at "natural beauty". The hate page is somewhere else. If you are that jealous to criticize something that was clearly labeled as extolling (all) Black beauty- you need to go get a facial and put your own pic up. Dm, haters +jelus b--s are everywhere!

  • im pretty sure for this video they meant 'natural hair' not 'no make up', just to clear things up

  • Love this song

  • isnt a natural beauty without make-up?

  • Beautiful!

  • It's funny how people are commenting about the mixed-race thing. Could anyone explain what it is to be pure black? It doesn't exist. Unless you are pure black african and can trace your heritage through several generations of black africans, you're probably of mixed heritage. Mixed doesn't always mean 50/50. I would venture to say that most black americans have more than just black african in them. Oh and by the way, I continue to use the term black african because there are white africans too!

  • @nino2u Just did an essay on that in my comp 2 class. You are very correct but unfortunately the effects of the one drop rule are still relevant in today's society.

  • Thiss is SOOO Beautifullllll--->GOOO NATURALSS...^.^

  • What about Lisa Left Eye Lopes , Around 2000-02 she had a great texture of hair

  • MIght as well call them "mixed race beauties". Let's face it- most of them are. Still-nice vid. You forgot to include the lovely singing this song... Corinne Bailey.

  • Great video. Great song. Beautiful women. No lesbo...though now I'm considering it. LOL>

  • Is 0:18 that woman from Coming to America (I'm into the group thing?)

  • i don't know why tia got a perm they have such pretty hair and why are more 3cs natural then the other hair types he seems like it but janelle monae is so pretty her hair looks like a 4a

  • Thank you so much for posting this video! Truly means a lot :)!

    leeve yr comments

    greetings fr belgium

  • I am natural. I love this.

  • Uhm, why was Corinne Bailey Rae not featured in this video? She has amazing natural hair.

  • Right now my hair is kinda like 2:34 or 3:18. I am going to let my hair grow until it looks something like 0:27, 1:24, 1:54!!!

  • Blacks women likes Whites men.

  • Haha good joke. Black women cannot e beautiful and attractive, no matter what.

  • Beautiful vid and beautiful song. It matches perfectly with all the beautiful hair, esp. the kinky coily curly 4a's. Sorry, I am just partial to that hair type! Hee hee.

  • Most of these women are mixed or biracial. If my hair naturally looked like Mya's, I would wear it natural too.

  • @nospaces08 excuses excuses

  • Also Rachel True from Half N Half.

  • Nice video!!

  • too many mixed women. Full-blooded bw have different hair texture: much more coiled, frizzy, brittle and extremely dry. we have to fuss more with our hair yet most of us will never get the length and curl definition as mixed women. so this vid doesn't apply to most black women.

  • o please 90% of them r mixed hw many no mixed girls cn go thru d hazard of managing natural hair..

  • what is this video for mixed people or something lol. but all natural is beautiful just sayin

  • i love black women...but theres only 1 problem... i dont exist im jus jokin people...calm down.....lol

  • @TheBsheep ROFL i loled :P

  • hello...i was a millionare ... i dated 1 black woman... now im homeless

  • look at GODS perfection!

  • tamera ? no tia ? lol petty

  • beautiful women, beautiful hair but with teyana there's been so much debate about her hair and whether or not its even real, i always thought her hair was real but some say it isn't so i don't know

  • teyana's hair is a weave and so is diana ross'.. i guess if you counted their "natural textured weave" as "natural beauty" then ok..

  • All these women are lovely, as well as their hairstyles.

But please, is it possible to show some black women with short to medium afro hair.

    Just for once.

  • black beauty is the world's best

  • lol u didnt even show the natural women singing this song " corine bailey rae"

  • does anyone now how to get that style @ 3:18 plz tell me!!

  • @adfvssl011 I BELIEVE IT DEPENDS ON THE TEXTURE OF HAIR YOU HAVE. BUT WITH SOME AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IT WET YOUR HAIR WITH WATER. I SAY THIS BECAUSE MY GRANDMOTHER IS ALSO AFRICAN AMERICAN AND ALL SHE DO TO GET THAT STYLE IT WET HER HAIR SO....

  • @2cuteand2fly when you're natural, this is very true because your natural hair loves moisture and the best source is water. but when it's chemically altered...it hates water because it causes it to harden and frizz. i relaxed my hair for 27 yrs until I just got tired of the damage it was doing. now that i have my natural hair back, i hate my relaxed ends and i am getting them cut off. it takes too much to care for relaxed hair.

  • very nice good selection and song.

  • Is that Nik from America's next top model at 0:20?

  • Does anybody know the name of this song?

  • Do you know that amost of all these girls but maybe two are, biracial?, their hair has a differnt texture

  • @blacknbrown100 true

  • next time show all black shades of beautiful that have different natural textures of hair

  • these women are diverse and bueatiful black women xD

  • Where are the Nappy girls? I know these are natural girls, but they all are mixed. Where are the beautiful nappy girls? Thanks for the lovely video.

  • @godschildyes

what you said is ignorant as hell ...ppl think if ur black nd hav nice curly hair then ur mixed but thats not true

  • @constance380 My own mother has curly hair and she is not mixed. I know that a lot of non-mixed black women have curly hair. These women in the video all look mixed to me. That was not an ignorant statement on my part, it was an honest statement based on what I saw. I am very sorry that my feelings upset you and I hope you have a good day in spite of this. Take care and the Lord Bless you darling. Peace and love to you.

  • yay for naturals! =)

  • teyana taylor has a perm and a weave, she shouldnt be in this vid

  • Natural seems to all look mix-race. Hmmmmm

  • PLEASE TRY MY SASSY WRAP

    GOD BLESS

  • im currently in the process of goin natural noww,, one of the best decisions ive ever madee . !

  • natrual beautys?

More than half of theese were air brushed to perfection.

  • the "natural" is in reference to their hair.

  • im black and my hair curls, it has nothing to do with your race sometimes, great video but i dont think some of these females ex teyana taylor is natural but its a great video

  • Why do black women worry so much about their hair?

Men are far more concerned about your weight, disposition, the number of children you have etc.

  • People stop nitpicking. That's why were divided as a people. Natual is hair w/o any form of chemicals. Love the vid for what it is, appreciation for natural beauty. My hair tends to spiral, and I'm not mixed with anything. Natural hair doesn't just come in a form of a afro.

  • no offence but y are most of the black women in this video mixed race/biracial i can not identify with most of their hair textures and most black women do not have hair in that form this video alothugh well intended is promoting the stereotype of 'good hair' but im sure it comes from a meaninful place and im not trying to knock u xxx

  • @rudeboyg86

The terminology "natural hair" means hair that is free of relaxer/ perms and chemicals...those ladies do have natural hair they just have a different texture and type of hair.... All black women that are natural don't have kinky , coil, or afros...some have spirals, curls, waves... our hair is very diverse.

  • @uabdime I see your point but I kinda understand the views of "rudeboy".It seems that the women with looser hair texture were chosen to create this video.Yes they are natural but maybe women with a texture like myself should be added to balance it out a bit. I watch this and all I see is mixed and indian chicks.Keep it real!

    Kind Regards

  • RIGHT ON SIS

  • @uabdime Actually, not trying to be rude, but bi-racials have that curly soft hair your talking about. Blacks have curly hair too, but it's still kinky.

  • @ChantelHammond3 u dont have to be mixed to have that kind of hair any black woman can have it to they juat have to know how to take take of ther hair .and it will be so soft use coconut oil and olive oil and lots of things black people can do to take care of ther hair to look like that ..all they have to do it stop useing perms and weaves and go natural ..

  • @uabdime Yesss...embraace the diversity...:)

  • @rudeboyg86 dumb bitch get educated hoe

  • This was very nice ! Thx.

  • Great video, but Tianna Taylor is not natural....

  • @MissLucky87

    Teyana Taylor is natural.....

  • @uabdime nah Teyonna Taylor's big afro hair is a weave!

but hey at least she be rocking an afro weave rather than those blonde straight hair weave's like beyonce and tyra banks

  • @MissLucky87 ys she is

  • @MissLucky87 you sound like a hater. Teyana Taylor IS natural. Perfect example of how black women down one another.

  • @MysteriouzBrown Thats my opinion, I happen to have a head full of curls that I love, no reason to hate on Teyana, besides I like her so shoo fly...you know the rest....

  • I don't see that much of a range in skin color. Mostly light skin black women. Hmmm

  • I agree...

And I think thy were bellyful woman. But to call them natural?.... um...

  • 0:59 has such a gorgeous face! hell i'm gay and even i had to take a second look...she is that beautiful!

  • Beautiful !

  • Ubadime, we are going to add this one to the playlist as well. You have a treasure of great videos! Love you for it sister!

  • YESSS!! Thank you GOD!

I didn't know their kind still existed -- here in America that is. There is still hope.

I will ONLY date women of African descent, but I refuse to date women of African descent who have perms, weaves, blond hair, etc.

There are very few African-American females who are happy with, and/or take pride in the features they were born with -- especially their hair texture.

I've seen some stunning Ethiopian women with naturals.

May God bless all you REAL Sistaz out there.

  • Finally. Celebrating the black woman's natural beautiful hair.

  • Beautiful just beautiful.

  • love the video and CBR

  • love this!

  • I'm very happy with the fact that this video has women with a range of hair textures and skin colors :D

    Very goood work.

  • I love this! Thank you!!

  • Thank you for sharing this video with me!! I'm thinking of going natural again myself (I should have never repermed in the 1st place), and this video inspired me to do natural again and stay natural.

  • this video has inspired me to go natural

  • Yaay! Do it girl! Be patient with your hair, you're going to love it! Best wishes and enjoy the journey! I did. :-)

  • Ooh, Rochelle Aytes! Gorgeous ... my husband liked her on White Chicks. Great vid :-)

  • all gorgeous women with beautiful hurr!!

  • such great beauty... glad to have seen the vid, love the fasion as well! Missu/One

  • lol. i used this song in one of my videos.

  • Nice video.

  • I loved this video! The photos are so nice and it was so dreamy! I'm going to try stretching out my fro tonight to try out some of the looks!

  • who is that from 0:29 to 0:36?

  • A singer... Leela James

  • I like how you showed natural beauties and used a natural singer.

  • @isacool1990 you don't know what the hell she is. All that hollywood shit is smoke and mirrors. She might be natural, but then again....she might not be.....I recently got a "natural" weave and soooooooo many came up to me envying my "natural' hair and wondering why theres didn't look like mine. I felt took guilty and told most of them the truth.

  • I love all the hair. Beautiful. My sister in law looks like chili from TLC. Exact same complextion and exact hair type. Loose wave. And she hates her hair. She continue to get perms. I tell her all the time how natural is beautiful.

  • Beautiful...thanks for posting this. I love the song too.

  • lovely video.even the singer corinne bailey rae is natural.

  • this is a gorgeous vid! thanks for sharing! =)

  • I like the two women at the ends hair the best!

  • I love Tena Taylors hair, so pretty. I like all types of natural hair, I seriously do. All grades and cuts.

I wear my hair natural and I'm never going back to perms again.
