@devonevans - Cold air is denser than hot air, but the volume of air in this mod will over come the less dense hot air... so... in turn you WILL actually have more "air molecules" in your combustion chamber with this mod... is that good or bad... well to many factors to say either way... So may want to check your "load" you may have dropped some bricks...

I am a small engine teacher at a vocational school with a masters degree in engineering and I guess I don't know what I am talking about.. maybe the poster should have explained himself more and provided a schematic if they want intelligent responses... even with your explicit explanation, it doesn't make sense... so they are taking the vent from the cvt to the intake? .... also how is there exhaust coming from a transmission? and not the Exhaust port of the engine...
this is terrible idea... you can't burn already burned exhaust gasses... you need oxygen... not even sure whey it runs now... might be fake.... eventually.. everything will overheat and you will boil the fuel in your carbs..

@Quada03 He routed the CVT exhaust to his engine intake. Basically it works like this: CVT Intake> CVT housing> CVT Exhaust> Engine intake> Engine exhaust. Its not spent exhaust gas, its just hot air with minor pressure created from the fan on the primary clutch.
What will happen if you inject enriched oxygen air to the intake ? Lets say 28% o2 and the rest nitrogen ? will that increase performane or will it melt everything ?
