  • I wonder how high Roger could go if you squeezed his balls? O.o

  • Five persons who probably is deaf, oh wait Queen are so faking awesome even deaf people love them!

then say five persons with no joy in this life.

  • This is the first time I've heard Brian using a volume pedal

  • My god Roger can sing higher than I can...and I'm a soprano

  • @agentkoren That's because women can't sing falsetto, and also because Roger is just amazing!

  • <3 Freddie looks so gorgeous at 1:05! He is beautiful!

  • Damn Roger is a beast. People didn't believe he could actually sing that high and that the track was just auto tuned but he shut all those people up in this performance.

  • My head blew up!

  • OMG!! I HAD AN ORGASM .. ROGERRR THAT VOICEE!!! :O

  • @abbykel Its so crystal clear falsettos!

  • FREDDIE Q DIVINO CON ESA SONRISA. 0:03 HERMOSO MI AMOR...

Y ROGERRR ME LO QUIERO COMERRR JAA!!

COMO CANTA, ESA VOZ Q TIENE .. DIOSSS!!

FREDDIE TMB OBVIO. NI HABLAR! SON UNOS GROSOSS!!

  • Queen<3 Forever they are the greatest... I know who im seeing when I Die!

  • que falsetto de Roger, en vivo y con toda la adrenalina mantiene una voz brillante!

  • Wow, Roger...GREAT!

  • Great performance!

  • This has to be my favorite live performance of theirs, ever. John Deacon is such a badass.

  • Apart from being underrated, the people mistakes it with In the lap of the gods REVISITED!

  • god, love this song-

  • Mr. Taylor reaches the highest notes - even live. Very cool !

  • Roger and his voice :'D

  • este video-musical es el que tengo como de entrada al abrir you-tube, me gusta mucho espero sea tambien de su gusto, saludos.

    GRACIAS QUEEN....!

  • Te adoro, Freddie Mercury.

  • i love this song :3

  • awesome falsetto!!!!

  • 2:01 OMG ROGER

  • Freddie Mercury..perfect voice, classically trained on the piano, songwriter ..designed Queens logo .Beautiful, shy sweet and .sexy..part of something so perfect. Brian May Guitar Master.. Brilliant song writter, Roger Taylor great on drums and that falsetto! John Deacon wrote some of Queen's most memorible songs and amazing bass player..This band. this music. pure genius I saw them 3 times "77 and "78 at MSG and "82 in meadowlands..so rare to find so much talent in one group

  • holy !@#$ i cant believe that scream!!!

  • thumbs up if you smiled at 0:03

  • 5 personas no están en el regazo de los dioses.

  • when editing all instruments, vocals, time, light and sound may be off a 1/16- a 1/2 a second, remember this was originally edited probably by hand (anologistically) not by computer (digitally) that's probably what you're seeing!!

  • @brianthebastard But bearing that in mind, can the sound and video of the beginning of a single word match up, but the end of that same word be way off? I'm hardly an editor so I really don't know. It seems that if the editing was off, the sound would have to come in early to end early. My apologies for my ignorance. And God Save The Queen.

  • I've had and loved this on video for probably 15 years now...one thing that has always concerned me is, in parts, sometimes the sound just didn't match up. Anybody else notice? Take a look at Freddie's mouth at around 2:24, when finishing the line "...lap of the Gods...". Again at 3:02. Dunno. Interesting.

  • @akronflakesout Recall reading somewhere that the video and audio were recorded at seperate concerts. No idea whether this was true or not.

  • what RAINBOW is this?

  • 5 persons do not appreciate this Divine Art

  • amazing!!

  • Yeah like above they changed my life. I r emember sitting in front of the telly taping this concert on an audio cassette, which I played and played till it broke, I spliced it and it kept playing for years. such a brilliant concert, I was only 13 and can remember it like yesterday.....God bless Freddie Mercury what a talent. xx

  • este video-musical le escucho y veo a diario, (comentario) aun cuando esta hecho en vivo es de lo mejor, gracias QUEEN.

  • @lelletjess Do not forget about Liar. But that's pretty much everything,

  • I like this song better than the revisited version...

  • Who the hell can "dislike" this? Must be a Bieber fan! Queen Rocks!

  • Damn, Roger...

  • i need freddie.

  • Get this: The great Rodger Taylor actually auditioned for Brian May's band on a SET OF BONGOS because his drum set was still waiting to be shipped to his university residence.

    -True story.

  • @fatcatlable REALLY? how do yo know that!?

  • Super ! deberían escuchar y ver mas este video pues es una maravilla RTM

  • I'm just happy that people that don't pay much attention to the importance of roger's voice can actually see it here, but I have always been aware of it

  • This band is still very underrated! They're my absolute favorite band, Freddie is one of my favorite singers, & people don't realize Roger's amazing range! Listening to them growing up, I wasn't sure if that was Roger singing or Brian's guitar!

  • Queen is the sense of my life

  • Ah, where did this music leave to?

Now we're stuck with Justin Bieber, Fuck that noise. This band is the god of rock.

  • better than the studio version

    thank you so much roger!

  • This was Roger at his best vocally. Good thing he took advantage of his gifts!

  • I really live my life for you,and yes,i would like to touch your lips with mine Freddie!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Roger :)

  • Espero que esta versión (después de este comentario) sea mas visto y escuchado, es muy buena en todos los sentidos. Gracias Queen.

  • Roger Taylor !!!

  • This is worth it just to listen to Roger due those "HIGH" notes (aka "screams") LIVE!

  • omg omg i love the smile of mercury awww thankyou :*****

  • The higest falsetto in Borhap is Bb5, Freddie could hit as well: in fact he hit Bb5 in Wembley '86 and Rock in Rio '85. Freddie highest falsetto note is F6.

But Roger probably could go higher than Freddie.

  • @carooomargheee now a brief F sharp 6 now. My friend Greg found F#6 in it's late before the E6.

  • @rekoonsghjkl

Nice to hear that Greggie has found another high note! :D

Thank you for the news! :)

  • @AleksMichel Actuslly Freddy could hit everything and more than Roger could.

  • @ZeppelinClassics Are you sure about that one???? after all Rog was the Falsetto Gallileo on BOHRAP

  • @dadadruma Posotive. Roger could hit incredibly high notes, yes, but Freddie could sing them as well.

Quote: "I hit all the high notes, Brian hit all the low notes, and Freddie hit well...all the notes!"

  • @ZeppelinClassics I believe you TOTALLY that is such a Brian May (esque) statement to the max!!!! this is something i am happy to be corrected in lol

  • @ZeppelinClassics maybe in studio...but live Roger saved his ass in several high notes.Like in we are the champions.Freddie's voice is more beautifull, but seems he got tired after a few songs. But is amazing how they are in sync...at firstcis hard to notice that sometimes Roger singsxFreddie's high notes.Very well done.

  • Absolutely brilliant - this stuff is so often overlooked over the 80s stadium rock stuff but it is so obviously superior.

  • I'm a straight guy (not that it matters) and I find myself hypnotized by Freddies Performances. Singing those wonderful songs and playing the piano so effectively.

This is the only live version I've ever heard- thanks for posting it!!!

  • WOW ROGER GOT HIGH!

  • roger was amzing...and his singing is great...he was the one with the highest notes and could do the live...freddie was brilliant and had a great range but couldnt always do it live whereas roger could

  • Where the hell did you find this footage? I have seen bits and pieces of this performance, but I couldn't find the full version anywhere. You ROCK!!!! Cliff

  • Is it just me? Or does John look like he's having an exceptionally good time?

  • oooh i love this song live and not revisited!! especially at 0:55 :D of course the revisited version is amazing!!

  • @TheBarrelMan2 .Thanks for answering. Regards

  • my life is queen!

  • Great version! Roger sounds amazing

  • What did the audience to freddy in the first seconds?

    when answered thanks

  • @Cozbiset They cheered. You can't really hear it too well since the audience sounds like it was mixed down.

  • In all my years of watching queen and seeing them live, I don't believe I have ever seen a live version of this song before (only In The Lap of The Gods Revisited). This is a fabulous find and a beautiful rendition. Freddie looks so young in this clip. I must get this DVD!!!

  • this is sick! The only band that even compares to Queen nowadays is Muse. Freddie is definetely proud of Muse wherever he is.

  • if i were in the audience when he speaks in the first 2 seconds of this video i would have been screaming my head off.

  • this is perfect! sounds even better than the album here!

  • Sheer Heart Attack = Sheer Class!!!

  • queen........

    no wordss

  • ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu so amazing...shock...i love this song...

  • roger is fucking amazing

  • The Rainbow concert was their turning point. Recognition and acclaim followed. New managment meant they stopped getting ripped off. A great period in glam rock in particular and rock music in general. Thanks for posting parts of the Rainbow concert

  • Roger is amazing

  • Roger is amazing.

  • Brian May looks like Jesus in this one!

  • I had forgotten about this song. I like this!

  • My favourite love song by Queen.

  • I agree UNDERRATED! This was a brilliant song written by Queen.

  • I remember watching this in my bedroom, aged 14, with the volume down low so as not to wake my parents, on, I think, new years eve '74. Amazing! Thanks for posting.

  • che gioiellino !

  • Damn, those are some pretty high notes Roger's singing here ! I can sing a A5 too, but I can't make it sound that good, plus I'm not sure I could do it without training. Pretty amazing voice !

  • amazing! everyone in queen had a major role in making them the best band ever!

  • 2:00 amazing

  • These things MADE Queen and Freddie Mercury.

  • ti adoro freddie

  • wow. roger is amazing! i can't get enough of his wonderful voice. :)

  • legends

  • it´s A GOOD SONG QUEEN ARE THE BEST I LOVE FREDDIE

  • These guys changed my life

  • @burnsmay They got me through a really hard time. I couldn't love them more for that.

  • Just listen to Roger in this clip. Amazing.

Regular listeners (not Queen fans, because they know...) should be more aware of his important role in the backing vocals at that time...

  • @githyper tottally agree, he is singing just the same that on the record and We must considerer that the song was recorded on a multitrack recorder, I don't understand how he was able to do such a thing. He is a superb singer, but if you are in a band with freddie, It's difficult to be on his level, but roger and brian could. Anyway, a regular listener don't even know that roger sang ha ha

  • @githyper god that is so true, so underrated

  • @githyper Roger is one of the all time best drummers/singers

  • @eddielives100 If people had to choose who is the best individual drummer/singer ever than Roger would be the winner. There were great drummers in the rock world but how many of those great drummers also had a great voice? No one. The only one is Roger.

Same thing with Freddie. Who is the best individual songwriter/singer? People automatically choose McCartney or Lennon but they're wrong because they only had a good voice. The best one is Freddie because he had a great voice.

  • @Yo1969Yo You're right. Not a lot of drummers out there can also sing well. I particularly enjoy watching the video to "I'm In Love With My Car". I love Roger's voice. Concerning what you said that some people think Lennon or McCartney were the best singer / songwriters ... I don't agree with them. Posters would try to convince me, put Mercury down, or personally attack Queen fans because we don't agree with them. Well, their efforts are futile. I know a GREAT singer when I see one. FM #1.

  • God´s music!

  • No, there is. It was a 1974 concert at the Rainbow.

  • Felicidades freddiee

    te adoro!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREDDIE...you will always be the best!!!

  • whats with the crowd? they r nothing compared to live aid :)

    I <3 QUEEN!

  • Underrated genius

  • I don't think they were underrated. BBC has said they were the best english band and live aid was the best live-gig of all time.

  • underrated yes in the US but then again im from the US and there a select few left with intelligance and those are all queen fanatics

  • @dadadruma I know, why?? I could never understand that, was it because the press never gave them enough credit? Their management didn't push or present them effectively in the U.S.? They had more talent than any band around.

  • @queenmethirteen The American media were jealous of Queen. That's the only explanation I can think of. I remember those days. The American fans on the other hand were crazy about Queen.

  • Gorgeous song... simply brilliant...

  • ROGER ! ! ! Where did you get such pipes??? Perfect back-up vocals for Freddie!!!

  • thnks rog

  • ROGER UR THE BEST EVER!!!

  • What A Wonderfull Quality I Wish Queen Release The 70s Concerts Like : The Rainbow . Hammersmith '75 . Hyde Park . Earl's Court . Houston . Hammersmith '79 I Wish This From All Of My Heart

  • ......the line bass, beautiful!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN! ROCK ON!!!

  • how the hell is Roger able to get his voice so high? Amazing! and Great song

  • @kramnesnay because he is God :)

  • bella davvero...cosi la preferisco anche alla revisited

  • Roger is amazing here

  • Right????

    Mary Austin right?

  • beautiful song, beautiful Freddie. I wonder if he was thinking of Mary when he wrote this??

  • This song was about what destiny had in store for him and Mary. Sheer Heart Attack was a transistional album for Freddie. Lily of the Valley is another song about Mary. Mary Austin who went to on to be a strong, close and personal confidant/friend up and to Freddie's death.

  • thanx 2007jimmyd2007. Mary was the love of his life............. beautiful songs he wrote about her.

  • Me thinks ur right

  • 2:03 what's happened?? see the drum and listen...
