funny, i believe in God and also believe that evolution is real and is happening right now. and its stupid to call anyone from either side of the " creationism vs. evolution" argument stupid, stereotyping is stupid in general
@SelfPromoting In my above comment: "by whom? I studied ice cores as part of my paleontology course at the University of London and have never seen a single piece of legitimate scientific study which demonstrates their unreliability." You were the one who brought up this "evidence" that supposedly cast doubt on ice cores so I was asking you to show it to me. That makes me aggressive? You keep going on about this evidence but when asked to present it you don't show it.
And you proved you are exactly as stubborn as you've been acting and pig-headed by blocking my self-advertising account like a baby-infant. It's not my fault you can't handle a different opinion. Very sad an tragic though.
@SelfPromoting I'll ask one more time, please do link the scientific papers you have which prove ice cores to be unreliable. Last time I checked, YouTube videos were not sufficient evidence to overturn decades of scientific study. :)
@SelfPromoting "those cycles happen more than just by season" no, it's precisely the survival of the ice sheet through these warmer temps (comparatively warmer, temps never go above freezing) in summer which create ice cores. "it's been proven unreliable" by whom? I studied ice cores as part of my paleontology course at the University of London and have never seen a single piece of legitimate scientific study which demonstrates their unreliability.
@SelfPromoting I wasn't talking about the oldest individual tree. Tree rings from several overlapping years and several different trees make up the record dating back over 10K years. A simple read of the Wikipedia article on dendrochronology would have cleared that up. Some trees produce 2 rings a year and others only one, but individual species will produce either 1 or 2, not sometimes 1 and sometimes 2. Ice cores are created seasonally and therefore by years, not freeze-thaw cycles.
It's shameful that we should even have to address issues like this!
What happened to all the teachers out there? I mean, you could forgive an isolated tribe in the middle of nowhere for not knowing but people who live in the country that first put a man on the moon???!!!
Shameful... and shocking! They have most of the nukes and leaders who say things like "God told me to invade Eye-rack".
And which country is the only one to nuke civilians? And they did it TWICE!!!
I use these very points when debating Xians on Evolution and the Flood claim.
Yes, the tree ring dating goes back 10,500 yrs. Besides the radiometric dating, which is quite accurate, Cosmology is also used. Our Earth is over 4 Billion yrs old. Xians will outright ignore the scientific data, unless they have a claim that needs science as an attempt to validate it. Then science is just peachy!
Here is more ammo against YEC. If you go to Fish lake Utah, you will see the Clonal Quaking Aspen, still ALIVE, and well. No flood damage here, and it is 80,000 years old....In the arctic they found bacteria that is over 700,000 years old. Type in Rachel Sussman, and her study of plants 2,000 years old, and older. There are many more listed
Thanks for the short vid. Everything can usually be said in a short time frame, but most YT ppl don't get that. I'm having to screen the vids I watch by time.
Short and to the point, very good. Sadly the will not listen because to them you are just repeating the lies of Satan, the naughty fire elf. Hopefully some young person who is doubting their parents lies will happen upon this kind of thing. It could very well help them.

@sk8dewd1 I wouldn't necessarily say "stupid", but I would say "ignorant".

@SelfPromoting "What's shameful about it? Where is your sense of adventure?"
