I just found this Mame yesterday, when i was googeling for a very old game that i was always playing in a pub, about 20 yars ago. ^^

Things I loved about the arcade version more than the NES version were:

1. Soldiers would actually get OUT of the truck when it stopped. In the NES version, the truck just stopped and parked like a sitting duck. WTF?

2. When you destroyed buildings, it actually increased your enemy's body count, not so in the NES version.

My favorite of all:

3. The Frogmen would kick their legs up when they die, where you can see their flippers.

Just little attention-to-detail stuff made all the difference.

I remember this game. There was a Cabal arcade machine at a restaurant here back when I was younger. Used to eye that thing, but don't remember if I ever played it. Cabal rocks and have played tons of Cabal for PC and NES.

yeh its the bootleg version the us version had proper sound but no roll and u really need roll lol i just put some metal on and have the sound off used to play this game when i was like 6 yo if enyone doesent no u can play this shit on mame32 google cabal roms

Yeah, it is the bootleg version. The original arcade version did indeed have a roll but you had to "flick" the joysick up right or up left and press the fire button at the same time. Where as the bootleg version just has a stand alone button for roll.
