I know everyone will say that Shearer was one of the greatest and that no one has anything on him, but to be honest I miss Nolan a little more than I miss Shearer.
kevin nolan is an unbelievable signing for us (westham) its a shame newcastle let him go so easy but i cant complain because we wont get a better signing this year.
@Robotdrummerzzk yeah to be honest quite a few games he's played for us he has gone missing on pitch. not been what i expected at all but he'll have the odd fantastic game, i think his heart is still in newcastle
@123hoythere We're selling him because we're gettin 3.5 million for him, more than what he's worth. Also we now have cabaye, who is younger and a better all round player than nolan, we also have to cut down on the average age and with the amount of players coming in we need the best there is in the midfield. Nolan would only have been around for two years anyway, he was great and I wish him the best of luck at west ham but he wouldn't have lasted much longer anyway, he wouldn't keep up
@Olie23231 A premiership midfielder with a guarantee of 10+ goals a season is worth more than 3.5 million. Yes Cabaye may be younger (only 3 years younger) but is still unproven in the premiership and we have no idea how well he was gonna do. Noilan is only 28 and would last at least another 5 years as he is a player that does not rely on pace, just look at how long paul scholes lasted!

Cabaye won the double with Lille last season, and he is more than ready for premiership football. He is a way more skilled player, no matter what league you play him in he still outclasses nolan, just the way it is. Overall west ham are prepared to spend 16 million on Nolan, which is just ridiculous, he really isn't worth it. Then he goes and throws a tantrum when we don't keep him!
