They are loud it's true. There is a sort of ceiling between the ringers and bells so you can't see them from underneath, but if you stand around the central frame of the tower you can see them. They are rather loud, but actually you get used to it quite easily although a lot of people panic. But they are very nice to ring.

@KDowner94 they are readily available for visiting bands and quarter peals :) only ring for a couple of Sundays a month though.

It is! and the bells are good too, nice to ring, pretty well in tune... just the volume causes a few difficulties but you get used to it.
