I've seen how fast some of the trains go before stopping. While I was looking at the speedometer on a car car, I saw it INCREAS to 80, then he put the brakes in as far as it goes without being in "emergance".

Well if Amtrak gets some more dough you might see the ALP-46A pulling Amtrak cars... They need a new electric to replace the aging AEM-7 and the HHP-8 are not the answer... So they are looking at the ALP-46A same body just more horsepower since NJT has IIRC 25 on order that they can add to.
