What's the difference between the complete baloney that Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Barack Obama, and Osama bin Laden spout?
Just because Bin Laden said something, doesn't make it untrue... and the corollary... Just because Bin Laden said a few things that are true, doesn't make him a good person. However, anyone who dismisses Noam Chomsky does so purely out of ignorance and arrogance.
Listen you partisan hacks, I'm a conservative and even *I* hate Bush. I find it funny that he quotes "anti-globalization" as a liberal talking point, whereas globalization would have been considered ridiculous under most real conservatives. Now it's a "liberal talking point"? Do you know ANYTHING about our parties history?
Whacked conservative fundamentalists who pervert their religions to justify their homicidal megalomania is evil whether it's Bin Laden or the Bush wing of the GOP.
You libs support Osama because you hate Bush. And Bin Laden's talking points are strikingly similiar to the ultraleft: Hatred of Jews and Christians, bitching over cartoons and quotes, blaming America for everything, slandering our military, making excuses for radical Islamists.
Now that, right there, is buckets of stupid. Let me get this straight, you did infact just post that "libs support Osama because you hate Bush". That is beyond ignorant, there's just no words for it.
Idolized? Hardly. There are only a few Muslim countries that 'Idolize' Osama or feel that the 911 attack was a good thing. On the other hand, you'd be hard pressed to find many countries at all (Albania excepted) that support the U.S. invading the wrong country over 911.
Bush has brought more danger and uncertainty to our country than any President in U.S. history. Unquestionably the dumbest!
Sorry there you Illiterate Hick but there were a max of 21 countries with troops in Iraq with a total of less than 15,000 combined and only GB with 1000 or more. It's not hard to find facts if you know HOW TO READ. Get an education then try to act smart not smartassed.

WOW! Where did I say I support either or any of the crap you spew? I oppose ALL THREATS FORIEGN AND DOMESTIC. Opposing fundamentalism is not opposing religion it's oppossing religous extremists.
Why do I have to like either? They are both narcissistic megalomaniacs and Bush gave Al-Queda a huge recruiting boost and a 2nd front and has hurt the fight against Islamic extremists.
Funny how you libs whine about oil, yet you don't go after Hollyweirdos who fly around in private jets. And how many of your "No Blood for Oil" signs fit in your SUV, hypocrite?
the u.s. wouldn't have had to invade pakistan to catch bin laden - musharraf was allied with america - as was most of the world - after 9/11 and before the iraq war. if the u.s. had sealed up the border with pakistan's help instead of sending all these troops to iraq, there's a good chance we could have nabbed this guy. instead, the u.s. military is broken, taxpayer money has been squandered and bin laden is putting out dvds.
Sure, how about: Bill Clinton, a liberal president, put forth more balanced budgets than Bush Jr *AND* Reagan combined? And they were supposed to be the conservatives? Even Reagan wasn't as much of a conservative when he got into office. The man ran on an inspired Goldwater platform and then pissed it away.
Er? We're talking about the budget the PRESIDENT put forward, not what the congress approved. And that's not all they've been right about.. Is this ignorance what's happening to our country? You know 10 years ago most conservatives would have thought what Bush is doing now would be insanity. But now we rationalize it with "Hitlery would be worse". This is why people are leaving our party in droves. We will not win unless we go back to classic conservatism.
If you will not accept that we're talking about "fiscal conservative" presidents offering unbalanced budgets to congress, how can you accept the point? You're dancing around it by calling congress in. I'm talking about the PRESIDENT'S BUDGET that they put together in February every year. I will not give you more points until you see what I'm saying, because there's no reason to do so.
But if you're arguing that the liberals have never done anything right, I'd point to Clinton's budget first. He was more conservative than our current president or Ronald Reagan, at least in terms of spending money.
No, it wasn't forced on him, he provided it himself. Do you understand how the budget process works? Wikipedia it up, it'll take 5 minutes. Where are you pulling your history from? Yes, he raised taxes, but seriously, lets compare him to even Reagan era. Reagan decried the liberals tax-and-spend policies while running on a very Goldwater-esque platform, but then became a borrow-and-spend policy maker. He simply moved the amount of spending (which he increased considerably) to a credit card.
yes I know congress determines how much is spent not the president. And Reagan was unable to force the cuts in the budget on congress and his tax cuts worked revenues rose from $244 billion in 1980 to $446 billion in 1989.
1993 Clinton tax increase appears to having the opposite effect on the willingness of wealthy taxpayers to expose income to taxation. According to IRS data, the income generated by the top one percent of income earners actually declined in 1993
It also sounds like you think anyone who doesn't agree with you politically is a liberal. I find that most Republicans who bash liberals also bash our most conservative candidate, Ron Paul. Do you think Ron Paul is liberal simply because he believes the war is bad? I'm a conservative and I think the war is bad, does that make me a liberal?
Your comment on Ron Paul is bizarre. What constitutes a conservative but a small government, fiscally conservative, pro-life, who doesn't believe we should give up liberty for security? Please cite history, not current events, for your evaluation of him not being conservative. This is the problem, we're handed an amazing candidate and the party slaps him down.
I have read all about libertiarns I had a friend that is one and he gave me all thier lit. And I don't buy thier lets all stay at home bullshit, it ignores the reality of the world.
Interesting. Because if you look back to Taft you've got a republican with a non-interventionist foreign policy. Furthermore, there are conservative libertarians and liberal libertarians, they can have either leanings. As has been noted many times, Dr. Paul is considerably more conservative than everyone else on the stage. Do you consider yourself to be a conservative? Or do you consider yourself to be a Republican? You can't be both and have your views.
70% of America wants to leave Iraq. Even Reagan was bright enough to get our troops out of Lebaanon, and mention that we don't understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics, and shouldn't be involved. But I guess Reagan isn't Republican enough for you. You don't appear to be arguing points, you appear to be using labels as characterizations.
You will have to explain how that is true. Who EXACTLY wins and who exactly loses? It's a very important question. You, my friend, lose nothing. Our troops, who are no cowards and will fight even unjust wars, will not have to die due to politics. Since it's not really arguable that we're in Iraq for the wrong reasons (no WMDs, etc), how is it not moral to leave?
when Reagan pulled out of Lebonon the terriost won do you have trouble with this, and look Lebonon still is fucked up with terriost running half the country. Its not moral to leave them to terriost take over or Iran takeing over or turkey invading all possible. Complete the job thats started and not let the nutcase Islamic terriost win.
Did Lebanon attack us afterwards? Are they are an immediate danger to us? Was Iraq? No, they were not. Bush was questioned : "What did Iraq have to do with the attacks on the World Trade center?", Bush replied "Nothing!". We invaded a soverign nation who was not an immediate danger to our national security. In doing so, we're in even more in danger now.
no Lebanon has not attacked us but the terriost have too many times to count. And Iraq did provide aid and comfort to terriost Abu Nidal for one and many others so get your facts right
Your arguments are nearing comical now in defense of this war, even now mentioning Lebanon as part of your own argument?! CIA terrorism expert Michael Scheurer would like a word with you. You are not leaving me with a lot of hope for our party once us old vets die off. You are merely reciting what you've heard from god knows where. Do yourself a favor and pick up a book on our war on terror.
You just said that I'm basing my information off of second-hand information, while you yourself are basing your information off of something you heard from someone else, which is by definition second hand. So, to reiterate, since we moved out of Lebanon, we have not been attacked by them. Those who say that the "terrorists will win" are the same people who have fed us lies about this war from the get go. Unless you think Cheney and Bush haven't lied about the war...
lets see attacks by terriost lebonon, the cruseship Abu Nidal job, retired to Iraq, first tower bombing, kobar tower bombing, two embassy bombed, Uss cole, Somilia black hawk down, 9/11. no they have not attacked us. are you stupid this is not second hand information, its facts all terriost attacks by islamic nutcases backed by Iraq, Iran, and Syria.
Erm, did you just infer that Black Hawk Down in Somalia was from a Lebanese terrorist group or Hezzbolah? Want to hear the irony? The REPUBLICANS were strongly against Clinton's nation building in Somalia. Why are you lumping all terrorist activities with Lebanon, that's not even close to accurate.
Abu nidal group lived in Iraq 20 countrys attacked 900 died abu abbas 85 hijacking achille lauro cruse ship living in Iraq, Zaqawi fled afganistan wounded in tora bora recieved treatment in Iraq and stayed terrorist training facility in Iraq known as Salman Pak. Yes saddam supported terrorist and that is accurate
You do know that according to the CIA and DIA, Salman-Pak was not a terrorist camp right, and your assertion was completely debunked years ago? This is getting too depressing, I can't do this anymore. Please stop repeating rhetoric and educate yourself my conservative brother. PLEASE spend some time researching the history of our party.
Another section - M-21 - was formed in 1990 to create explosive devices for Iraqi intelligence. Its chemistry department developed explosive materials; its electronics department prepared timers and wiring; and its mechanical department produced igniters and designed the bombs Laurie Mylroie Phd
Director Woolsey described the existence of a highly secure military facility in Iraq where non-Iraqi fundamentalists [e.g., Egyptians and Saudis] are trained in airplane hijacking and other forms of terrorism. Through satellite imagery and the testimony of three Iraqi defectors, plaintiffs demonstrated the existence of this facility, called Salman Pak, which has an airplane but no runway
Mylroie served as President Clinton's top advisor on Iraq during the 1992 campaign, and she has lectured on Middle Eastern terrorism and its origins at the Naval War College and Harvard University. Mylroie is also author of the book, "The War Against America," which details Baghdad's role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Folks, don't waste your time with ole Gizzdrinker here. He's uneducated and maintains a real HICK stance on everything. He may be a shill, his posts are so crazy but in the end, No harm.
Abu Musab al Zarqawi fled his al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban, settling in Baathist Baghdad. He is reported to have received medical care at the Olympic Hospital, run by Uday Hussein. After recovering from his injuries, Zarqawi travelled to northern Iraq where he set up the Ansar al-Islam terrorist training camp.
Nidal and his group have been blamed for more than 90 terrorist attacks that killed more than 300 people and wounded 600 others. The attacks struck at Middle Eastern, European and U.S. targets. LIVED IN BAGDAD
documentary evidence. Many of the fighters were drawn from terrorist groups in northern Africa with close ties to al Qaeda, chief among them Algeria's GSPC and the Sudanese Islamic Army. Some 2,000 terrorists were trained at these Iraqi camps each year from 1999 to 2002, putting the total number at or above 8,000.
The secret training took place primarily at three camps--in Samarra, Ramadi, and Salman Pak--and was directed by elite Iraqi military units. Interviews by U.S. government interrogators with Iraqi regime officials and military leaders corroborate the documentary evidence
Iraq under Saddam was a major state sponsor of international terrorism. They almost wrote the book, and I've read the books that have been written. Iraq under Saddam was an active sponsor of terrorist groups, providing safe haven, training, arms, logistical support judith yaphe PHD
I guess thats why your buddies abu nidal, abu abbas lived in Bagdad they think just like you and you're other friends Osama, Ried , Pelosi. you're the stupid bitch
A blithering idiot could read these tea leaves. Osama thinks he can cater to the left to get America to 'be nice' and put down their guns...doesn't that sound like typical liberal stratagey? Actually he sounds like a product of public schools in America: knee jerk leftist, vacuous crap.
Sounds like Osama found a cache of commie books left behind by Soviets in Tora Bora, and has become a believer!
Seriously, his rants could have come right out of the mouths of some dumbass sandal-weaving patchouli pinko sophomore womyn's studies major at Columbia University... Or Antioch...
The neosocs (modern liberals=secular socialists) are just unhappy angry potty mouths... they can't talk about their secular socialist ideas (govt nanny, hi taxes and no morals) so they curse and use their old ploy of "fear and smear"... pitifully junior high schoolers who worship serial adulterers and all liberal moral midgets. Happy being unhappy. Expose them, defeat them. Never try to reason with liberals... can't be done.

MiriadX 4 years ago
when Reagan pulled out of Lebonon the terriost won do you have trouble with this, and look Lebonon still is fucked up with terriost running half the country.

MiriadX 4 years ago
no Lebanon has not attacked us but the terriost have too many times to count. And Iraq did provide aid and comfort to terriost Abu Nidal for one and many others so get your facts right
gismotech 4 years ago
Your arguments are nearing comical now in defense of this war, even now mentioning Lebanon as part of your own argument?! CIA terrorism expert Michael Scheurer would like a word with you. You are not leaving me with a lot of hope for our party once us old vets die off. You are merely reciting what you've heard from god knows where. Do yourself a favor and pick up a book on our war on terror.
MiriadX 4 years ago
You have no idea I was in italy and people I worked with were in Lebanon when it was bombed I don't provide second hand bullshit like you have.
gismotech 4 years ago
You just said that I'm basing my information off of second-hand information, while you yourself are basing your information off of something you heard from someone else, which is by definition second hand. So, to reiterate, since we moved out of Lebanon, we have not been attacked by them. Those who say that the "terrorists will win" are the same people who have fed us lies about this war from the get go. Unless you think Cheney and Bush haven't lied about the war...
MiriadX 4 years ago
lets see attacks by terriost lebonon, the cruseship Abu Nidal job, retired to Iraq, first tower bombing, kobar tower bombing, two embassy bombed, Uss cole, Somilia black hawk down, 9/11. no they have not attacked us. are you stupid this is not second hand information, its facts all terriost attacks by islamic nutcases backed by Iraq, Iran, and Syria.
gismotech 4 years ago
Erm, did you just infer that Black Hawk Down in Somalia was from a Lebanese terrorist group or Hezzbolah? Want to hear the irony? The REPUBLICANS were strongly against Clinton's nation building in Somalia. Why are you lumping all terrorist activities with Lebanon, that's not even close to accurate.
MiriadX 4 years ago
I did not lump all terrorist with lebanon.
Abu nidal group lived in Iraq 20 countrys attacked 900 died abu abbas 85 hijacking achille lauro cruse ship living in Iraq, Zaqawi fled afganistan wounded in tora bora recieved treatment in Iraq and stayed terrorist training facility in Iraq known as Salman Pak. Yes saddam supported terrorist and that is accurate
gismotech 4 years ago

Abu Musab al Zarqawi fled his al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban, settling in Baathist Baghdad. He is reported to have received medical care at the Olympic Hospital, run by Uday Hussein. After recovering from his injuries, Zarqawi travelled to northern Iraq where he set up the Ansar al-Islam terrorist training camp.

documentary evidence. Many of the fighters were drawn from terrorist groups in northern Africa with close ties to al Qaeda, chief among them Algeria's GSPC and the Sudanese Islamic Army. Some 2,000 terrorists were trained at these Iraqi camps each year from 1999 to 2002, putting the total number at or above 8,000.
gismotech 4 years ago
The secret training took place primarily at three camps--in Samarra, Ramadi, and Salman Pak--and was directed by elite Iraqi military units. Interviews by U.S. government interrogators with Iraqi regime officials and military leaders corroborate the documentary evidence

Iraq under Saddam was a major state sponsor of international terrorism. They almost wrote the book, and I've read the books that have been written. Iraq under Saddam was an active sponsor of terrorist groups, providing safe haven, training, arms, logistical support judith yaphe PHD
