  • you r way to far at the front from the beginning! seriously it doesnt look nice and anyway u have to lean forward only a little and noct lay on the neck of the horse!

  • nice u r sitting a little to far up

  • sit the fuck back!!! If he stopped, you're straight off!!

  • How far apart are they?

  • could i recommend that you not go into two-point until u start the bounce jumps?

  • Where is this? Looks Mediterranean.

  • Hold the two point girl! Very cute vid :)

  • teu corpo ta muito na frente!

  • When you are in 2 point dont lean on the horses neck and get your butt off the saddle. Also during the jumps dont stay in your 2 point. If you do ans you horse refuses the jump. Nice job though.

  • You were really good for just starting jumping but you shouldnt really be wearing spurs if your only started=/

  • Arent bounces the best :)

  • in the middle of the jumps sit up during your 2 pint so if your horse refuses you wont fall

  • so glad youve improved since 2008 :D xx

  • your horse does everything and you do nothing...

  • Lol! Long time ago I did this and had my 1st fall! =) ♥

  • Maybe dont go into your forward seat so early or he will start running out or refusing!! :D

  • u should not be laying on your horses neck , and you bum shound not touch the saddle when your in two point.

  • thats a really long line?

  • This looks very nice. But your two pointing way too early!

  • @22LowLow yes, i was beggining to learn to jump & told to get into 2 point & stay in it

  • You are seriously laying on your horse's neck -_-

  • I can give you some advice? When you jump a barrier should be straight and not bend the body forward.

  • I just did that today and the first time i feel off and i just got back on and did it :) I really love it!!!

  • @toontown1111 yes its great fun

  • why r u leaning forward...?

  • @Baileyforever1 i dont think she asked for an online trainer lol!!!=)

  • haha Thats so much fun.

  • No inclines tanto tu cuerpo hacia adelante! espera el salto

  • Hey anyone here know the distance between a bounce for a 16.2 thoroughbred jumping70-80cm

answer in cm deffs not feet please.

    thankyou! :D

great riding too keep it up.

  • @DevestatedDonna depends on how long ur horses stride is. try pacing it out. 2 4 of ur paces should equal 1 of his strides, so do 2 paces from landing side of 1st jump, then another 2 paces to takeoff side of 2nd jump. try it and just be prepared, maybe doing the bounce with crosspoles for 1st time may be easier if he gets it a little bit wrong! hope this was some help

  • i loved ur horse, but it would be a bit less stresssful on the horse if u trot in and then let him do whatever through it...

  • I like jumping these long bounces with the tiny jumps. its so fun and i feel like its a great excersize for the horse. trotting through raised poles is a great excersize to get their feet moving too!

  • @CarolinaCowgirl302 I know this might be a bit late, but just sit up straight and ride the horse forward, when it comes to the first one, go into your jumping (or two-point) position and stay like that until the bounces are finished. Keep the leg on and use your whip if you need to :) Hope this helps :) ♥

  • Bounce's are well fun arent they?!

  • if I were u I would sit up a lil mor instead of leaning forward soo much but other than tht it was AMAZINGG!!!:D

  • @ilovemymemories179 Thanks, yes i agree, i had just learning jumping here so not too good

  • @ilovemymemories179 she is two pointing and that is what you are suposta do when you are learning how to jump

  • @ilovemymemories179 yes i was going to say that aha !!!! sometimes if you lean to far foward you can over balance and fall fowards but really nice btw xxx

  • thats alot of jumps lol

  • Greats Job!!!! You have an absolutely beautiful horse too!!:)

  • je kan niet rijden

  • how long is the distance between each 'bounce' jump?:)

  • @CarolinaCowgirl302

well, just start with 2 jumps, and then increase, and anticipate!! you should follow your horse, just jump as normal, just they will be tighter :) i have been riding since i was 4, so you can trust me :) if you need any more help, just contact me :DD

  • What I don't understand is why on EARTH someone would canter that close to the jump and go straight to it. He went through the bounces almost everytime on the wrong lead because the rider picked up the canter 10 feet away from the first jump...

  • Your doing great, just practice some higher fences so he can raise his legs up a bit more. That will make the bounces much easier :)

  • @CarolinaCowgirl302 im nit the person to ask! lol but form what people say, sit up & ride horse forward

  • tu monte comme une merde. mais sinon bien

  • are those fun?? :) ive never done em!

  • @horseriderponylover yes they are :)

  • your and AMAZING rider!!! but sometimes what helps me and what my traine rtold me is to keep y hands off of the horses neck or else they will throw their head after the bounce but i dont know how your trainer trains and wheree you train but you are still AMAZING!!!!!

  • i love bounces... Great form remember to sit up and keep those toes up and heels down... lol (not crit just a friendly horserider to horserider talk)

  • Were you practising a two point? Looks like you are. Job well done..xx

  • you should have learned your timing and be able to sit up before and after jumping... before doing bounces otherwise it defeats the purpose of gymnastics and bounces

  • your horse is really cute.. just try to sit straight before the first jump.. and try to stay off his neck... but to me everything else looks great (:

  • All you need to remember is t osit up straight before the jump and not ride ahead check out my channel :)

  • trop penchée en avant --'

  • aah little dog follows you once!!

    good position you barely move!!!

  • you should at least have SOME sort of position before you start jumping..

  • If thats how you were taught to ride I would get a new instructor.. your lower leg looks pretty good, you just really need to sit back. You have real potential to be a damn good rider, but I would advise getting a new trainer. Buckling over like that before and after a jump is a horrible habbit to get into. I for sure wouldnt be throwing bounces at a begginer jumper at all.. This is just my opinion, Im not being mean or anything other than that you looked pretty good!

  • @MankinJessica She's training her two-point. When I started jumping, we were doing that as well. It's so you don't get left behind and you can see the natural point where you WOULD go into two-point.

  • @Thoroughbred17 Thanks, at last .. some-one who knows what i was doing ...

  • @poolsproperty Yeah, we did it all the time! I mean, my two-point is still shit, but that really helps. Are they thinking that you shouldn't be in two-point at all unless you're over a jump? Two seconds won't do it any good. One time, my instructor made us stay in two point at a trot for like, twenty minutes straight. It was awesome. :P

  • I love your horse, he's so pretty! You guys look good together!

  • haha that looks liike fun...Good job,,,beautiful horse

  • I think she was a begginer in this? So give her a break

  • STEAR!!!!! That is one of the most vital things to do during a gird line! And sit up straight!

  • You shouldn't lean on your hands so much. You should get a stronger core so you can use your hands for steering instead of balance. Just a tip :) but over all good job :)

  • She was or is a beginner!! People I wonder if you could've done it right when you were a beginner. She made one mistake! Cut her some slack. Beautiful horse by the way!! :) :)

  • you have a good horse if i lent that far forward my horse would dump me!

  • if i were the horse i would refuse all those jumps. your leaning way too far forward before after and to the next jump.

  • This was good :) i love doing bouces but I would suggest that you hollow out your back to get better form. georeous horse :)

  • @JumpingRider13 Thanks

  • Omg im really sorry but you should not jump so leaned foward, just sit up a little and dont fold or it do much there like 4 inches off the groundd.

  • i have a fjord....looks like the one in the arena..and i have suuuuch a hard time getting her to do bounces!

  • cappsy13 horse racing and jumping are two completely different things. When jumping its best to sit back at least 2 strides before a fence! racing has nothing to do with jumping so you cant really even compare them!

  • What's a bounce jump ? I havent practisd it yet :s

  • God if he refused one of them u would of been buggerd!!

  • ITs actually easier to sit up straight. I know you feel like a better rider when you lean far forward but really it looks funny. Just slide your hands uo his neck a little and close your hip angle. Simple enough.

  • you actually dont have to sit in the saddle before jumps jockeys never do and it works out fine for them

  • @cappsy13 Yeah, but they are professionals.

  • Seems fun but when i grew up riding everyone told me that horses don't breathe through bounces so be careful how many you set up :p

  • I would sit up a little more cause you can unbalance your horse.

  • It's horrible.

You are lucky that the horse knows what he's doing

  • SIT UP RETARD

  • @musicfreeakk3 Be nice to people. She was a begginer at this time its three years ago! When you first start things you offten do it diffrently when how you should, its a normal thing. Plus you have no videos at all so I dont think you have the right to be giving advice :)

  • @CodeNameStarKiller thanks xxx

  • @CodeNameStarKiller why dont you shut the hell up? i watched some of your videos and you SUCK

  • do u just stay in 2-point the whole time???

  • Sit up hon!

You will go flying if you dont sit up...

    And leg on !

    Right rein, left leg!

  • zainwestuj w dobrego trenera ;)

  • Watching bounce riding can be so hypnotizing o__O ;)

  • @CaramelRox999 i agree its soooooo cool i wanna do it some day

  • Think balance...Your are on your forehand and completely in front of the verticle...Sit up...Balance a trot into the first fence, then get someone to distance those right...there all over the place...6ft...that is the distance that a 'horse' stride is (give or take) to takeoff and land...so in that type of grid, 6 feet between...and sit up!! That horse and yourdself could really give you some good grid work if he was balanced through it...think long leg...close your hip not your calves.

  • That black is gorgeous, what's his name? Is he a thoroughbred? He looks like one. Great riding, I just started jumping, but we've done some bounces, and I've had some trouble, but it's awesome when it's done right! :)

  • lol bounces are supposed to be trotted into.. but the cantered throughhh

  • Fataaal!

  • I love grids, they are awesome- they do a great job improving horse and rider's position over fences.

  • awesome

  • good job :) my only advice is once you get more familiar with jumping, dont go into such an exaggerated 2-point. ;) its actually easier to jump just slightly out of the saddle, and barely tipped forward rather than way out of he saddle and leaned so far forward. let me know if this helps! ;D

  • Dont listen to the other people saying to not be in twopoint. I was taught the exact same way when I was first learning. I was told to go into the two point a little bit before the jump the first couple of times I was learning, to get the hang of it and not have to worry about it while over the jump, so I could focus on my balance. So yeah :] just make sure you start doing it right at the time your horse takes off instead of before once your used to it. Nice job! Lookin good! :P

  • @miasr55 i was taught the same thing. i REALLY want to try bounces when i get to be a better rider. i heard there fun!! :)

  • This horse is beautiful

  • If I was that horse, I would kill you.

  • Calamba2008, uh, ya! THEY R NOT FUN!

  • i started bareback jumping with my pony and i think im gonna try to do a bounce on saturday that seem fun! :D I don't jump too high bareback. Maybe about 2 ft. Great hob! I love ur horse!

  • improvement tip: sit back until u get to the jump then go into two point. if the horse decides to run out, u will most likely fall off.

  • Thats not big anough to call a jump here polls

  • horse and rider did amazing:)

  • Can I use some clips, please?

  • I'm not your trainer and I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish that day but that size bounce (I'm talking how low and how far apart the jumps are) isn't going to do much for horse or rider.

  • you should be sitting up b4 the jumps.

  • you and romero are good at that bu when you trot try to keep your shoulders back

  • As a beginner you should be taught to sit back as if you lean forward your horse becomes unbalanced and if it refuses you will be straight on the floor.

  • This Is Really Cool :)

  • Yes i agree with that last person

    But good Job

  • You people need to sit in the correct position, you are bouncing around a lot, which is makng the horse unbalanced

  • dont put your chest so low if that horse picks his head to much you will get smacked :) you need to be straighter up not so slouched

  • you shouldreally sit up... it will give you better eq. also turn ur elbows in and if you could sit up in between the jumps to make it look nicer

  • u need you sit up in between fences and coming up to them

  • Hi u should see my video of ,my horse doing a one stride as a bounce. I did not intentionally make my horse do that. She did it all on her own.

  • why do you lean forward it would be alot easier for the horse if you sat up striaght before the jumps

  • I think that's great riding. Bounce grids aren't easy, especially as many as you had in that line. Your in a lovely 2 point position. Keep up the good work!

  • nice

  • pretty horse

  • Sorry I didn't work the first time so I rewrote it and by the time it posted my first one was there sorry :] oh well it just let's me say more stuff to 1horse4me

  • She wasn't taught wrong smart stuff. She was taught right I was taught to go into 2 point before the jump and as you become more experienced you can sit also sometimes when cantering in 2 point it is more comfortable for you to stand the whole time it might be easier. So back off...

  • @1horse4me

I was taught to go into 3 point before the jump as a beginner. As you become more experienced you sit before the jumps and crest release or automatic release depending on the height you should sit up between jumps but when you sit before going into a grid or combination there is no need because you tens to do it naturally. She wasn't taught wrong your just a I-know-it-all person.

  • Yes you need to sit up more...but if that was the way you were taught...PEOPLE STOP CRITIZING HER! SHE WAS TAUGHT THAT WAY...IM SURE SHE DOESNT LIKE THE WAY YOU DO SOME THINGS WHEN YOU RIDE EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE TAUGHT THAT WAY! everyone has a different coach and they all have different techniques!

  • bounces are the best! i haven't done one in a while, gosh it makes me want to do one right now!

  • i have a problem. my first jumping show is on saturday and the pony i ride keeps refusing. we have to ride in hunter classes because we are jumping the 2ft courses but and there is no jumper classes until 2`6. what should i do? when i smack her on the bum with a whip to get her to not refuse she bolts through the rest of the cours and i either fall off or it look terrible. any suggestions?

  • try sitting up after each jump if you lean forwrd in between you more likely to have stop or fall like my mate did she ws like you leaning forward in betwen the jumps and her horse stop lucky she stayed on

  • lol you need to maybe sit up a bit more :)

  • lol me and my horse sucked at this, he was always like OMGGG wat do i do? and trip up hahaha. my fault tho, i was still a beginner at this stage

  • hey looks good ,... what´s the name of the song ? please

  • you could at least steer!

  • Try sitting up before the jumps...it should help the horse not to knock the poles. However, if you are a beginner (not saying you are-I know nothing about your riding experience) your instucter may be telling you to get into 2-point to ensure a good release. Really cute horse. I think he/she will jump really well when you get to higher fences.

  • hahah the dog :D

have you heard of an event at a gymkhana called 'bounce pony' its just like that, 5 poles and you go as fast as you can :D i enjoy it :D

  • amazin to see the strides!

  • This girl is very to lean ahead on her horse

  • Is that your horse? Whats his name? Whats his breed? You 2 are very cute together

  • its good for you to try and sit up inbetween jumps.

    nice horse =)

  • Lol,you were so funny to watch u need to sit back . I did my second bounce and i ride better.

  • Before jumping the first you really should be sitting because if you go into it in the jumping position or "ahead of the movement" and your horse spooks or runs out, ur gonna go flying!

And to HannahBlackwolf14, you can sit up in between the bounce fences and you should if not you're gonna unbalance ur horse.

  • @xflamingangelx .. i know but this was how a was told to do it as a begginer

  • @poolsproperty well you were obivously taught wrong

  • @poolsproperty

u should sit up b4 jumps

  • you really need to sit up xx

  • @xflamingangelx that happened to me the other week... i thought the horse i was riding was going to go over the jump but she spooked and bolted and i was and already in jumping position so i lost my balance and her stirups came off and i fell off! :(

  • thats good i never thought of putting a long line of bounces

  • that looks like fun. i love bounces. i never do a big line of them because im always afraid ill put them too close together or far apart and not realize it until the middle of the line when something goes horribly... lol

  • @schoolmaster227 yes they were only small but it was funny seeing so many in a row!

  • haha ur horse is so calm, mine wuld just gallop through haha

  • lol, its like: bounce, jump, bounce, jump! But lovely horse, and your a really good rider! Xx

  • @MsMisscute12 Thanks

  • @poolsproperty thats ok babe x

  • @poolsproperty thats ok x

  • Omfgg u need to siit up straigh before jumps babee x

    its annoyyin mee :L x

  • @McChuckyLucky lol she didnt sit up before the jumps because theres no time to sit up before each jump because he never plants all four feet on the ground before the next jump thats why its called bounce jumping xD so your not supposed to sit up straight before its jump

  • @McChuckyLucky

    reaaaaaaaaaally same here!!!!!!!!

  • @McChuckyLucky i don't think with that many bounce jumps you need to, just keep two point and keep pushing the horse on.

  • What a beautiful horse you ride!

  • @MandiLynn18 Thanks, yes a real life black beauty

  • yeah thats sure true! x

  • i love your videooos.

  • @oXxride4lifexXo Thanks, i sure do have a lot of them !!

  • whoa. ok well you looked really good. but you need to sit up and not lean forward so much. and not so many bounces. great job!!!

  • yes i know that now but this was at the beggining

  • hahahahaha that was sooo kool!!!! but sit up a little!!! :)))

  • thanks yes i need to

  • omg she is jumping like she can`t sit correctly(sry im german)

  • Great :) But you REALLY need to sit up.
