Hey congrats on the move, it's good to get a fresh start sometimes. I grew up in Boston, MA so I used to hop on the greyhound bus and visit New York all the time. Lemme know if you need some suggestions on some good food haha, NY is known for its awesome hole-in-the-wall hidden eateries. you said you are looking for friends, have you thought about getting a Facebook page? It is awesome for finding people who live in your area (better then myspace in my opinion). You should check it out :]

I just moved to South Flordia myself. No music career for me but I wish you the best of luck with yours. The good news is if you stay in NY long enough then you will eventually move to Florida... at least that is where most of the people down here come from.
