@Mill5160 Well actually Sonic Team never rushes themselves because they have to make 1 Sonic game per year and the maximum time for game development is 2 years so they have no choice but to rush them and if they have the time then they don't. SEGA is the one that rushes them but not anymore, and working your ass off isn't being lazy.

I remember many times on the Sonic the Hedgehog game where there was slowdown, mostly when Sonic hits lava or something and loses around 100 rings. We might just be used to having games with tighter controls nowadays....

HONESTLY, this game isn't as bad as people say. I own it, I have played the megadrive, I own multiple collections, use emulators. The game is slow alot, and the music may not be as amazing, but it's still fun. I enjoy it. Not as much as the original, which I didn't like that much either, but still.

Get Sonic Classic Collection for DS, they fixed those glitches plus they added Sonic 2, 3, and Knuckles. And you can play as Knuckles in any game except Sonic 1.

Yeah at least in 06 you can get used to it if you play it long enough and work your way around the issues. You may still die in goofy and unexpected ways but your game always saves. This game however. There are no redeeming qualities. Also since it is based off the original game there is no save feature. It is glitchy as hell, Sonic moves like he is in a pool of high viscosity syrup, and the controls and physics are bad. This is the worst Sonic game ever made.

the reason for the slow down was proberly because like the original gameboy the GBAM cant hold up 2 very much memory so by porting the game 2 GBAM it has the same problems.
