worst decision made was putting KITT into a mustang and then remaking the show. as a diehard KR fanboy I knew well it was set to FAIL, hence it was cancelled shortly after it debuted.
KITT in a mustang = FAIL
It would've worked MUCH better if the new CAMERO had been used or maybe a new vette or something more cleek & sporter in design. this muscle car crap doesn't work for KITT
The new series sucks big time. I just want a '82 transam with the original voice of kitt (william Daniels). All the new retro movies (herbie, dukes of hazard) get the old original car, why the hell not with this one??? We all wanted that Pontiac when we where young?!

What, no jumps!! That's what is great about the shows from 70's to the 80's. Dukes, A-team and knight rider. They drove on 2 wheels and did amazing jumps. I guess the networks are being too cheap. Or todays stunt guys are too scared. The real stunt guys only existed in the 70's
I honostly think Shelby GT500KR is a good choice for the Knight Rider because Ford is still popular today and all of the people know it, the same thing with 80s Trans Am people knew it well and that's why the used it. In 80s it was a commercial for Trans Am and now in 2008 it's a commercial for Shelby.
