@plaidtheimpaler i just had this conversation with my sister. she didnt like the album. her logic is that it wasnt as good as the others cuz she skipped over some of their songs.she likes some of the song off Crow left of the murder but if she has to skip any song, since its incubus it means it isnt that good.cuz with Morning View, Make Yourself, Light Grenades etc. we never skip. it could make sense if u think of that way. but i dont think it was terrible just not as great as Morning View!

this was written recently, actually. Almost every song on this cd were written after ACLOTM. You can tell because of the bass player.

Alex Katunich was very rhythmic in his style, a lot of low notes, because he primarily played a five string bass with a lot of mid and low.

Ben Kenny, on the other hand, is very melodic. He often times has a counteracting harmony that moves quite similarly to Mike's guitar parts. This bass playing is most definitely Ben.

Ben didn't join incubus until AFTER Morning View, when he was doing a side project (Time Lapse Consortium) with Mike.A Crow Left of the Murder and Light Grenades are the only two albums Ben is on for their entirety.
