for all you european guys who comment negatively on the Prowlers power....consider horsepower to weight ratios....the Prowler uses a standard Chrysler 254 hp 3.5 liter V6 but the total car weight is about 1/3 aluminum....that is why it scoots from 0 to 60 in under 6 seconds....and when you consider the price of gas at around 4 bucks per gallon and climbing....then you'll appreciate a car that gets decent gas mileage too....:)

I know exactly what you mean. I saw him take a GTO Judge, which I love, and butcher it. I couldn't believe he would do that to a classic like that. It's one thing to modernize a suspension system or engine. Those things are hidden and only improve the overall package. But to cut the dash all to hell and stick in a LCD screen so you can friggin' play xbox in the car is sacrilidge, to me. I do wish I had his drawing talent!

Is there a PRODUCTION Honda that has ever run 11's and raced on a road course? Chevy Corvette 0-60 is 3.7 sec, Dodge Viper is 3.5, so on and so forth. I have nothing against imports, drive one myself, but lets face it... American Muscle is where it's at. 0-60 in 5 sec sounds like it's about 1 1/2 sec too slow.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have a 93 eclipse AWD turbo. I am having multiple problems with it!!! what its doing is when i start it after sitting a day it runs fine. Park it then come out about 45 mins later and when i start it its like its lost all power. It idles really low and backfires when givin gas. When floored the rpms will not go above 2000 rpms. Please help me
@bigrappainhc - The ECU is in LIMP mode. It's a protection mechanism so that you can drive it home when it's broken without blowing the shit out of the engine. Look it up.
@biggeorge77 i had my f150 go into LIMP mode one time. cant go over 30mph or 2500rpms and feels like you are running on 2 cylinders. it just did it and when i shut it off and checked everything, i found nothing leaking so i figured id start it, well it was back to normal and hasnt done it since. that was 1.5 years ago and it was about 5 degrees F outside. dont know what triggered it.

@burton76 all i said is that you comparing a car with a huge engine like a viper thats made to be fast and comparing to a honda civic that wasnt really ment for racing. besides compare the faster civics to cars of a simlar engine sizes theres a reason why cvics have appeal.

@889350351 not really, wikipedia can be written by anyone and the information given can be unverified and a lot of the time made up. which model is this civic? as far as i'm aware, the type R is fastest road going civic which has a displacement of 2 litres and still will not crack 5 secs. maybe the vtec kicked in yoooo

@889350351 The PRODUCTION version of the Shelby Cobra went 0-60 in 4.3 seconds way back in 1967, not to mention 165mph top speed and 11 sec 1/4 mile times. Is there a PRODUCTION Honda that has ever run 11's and raced on a road course? Chevy Corvette 0-60 is 3.7 sec, Dodge Viper is 3.5, so on and so forth. I have nothing against imports, drive one myself, but lets face it... American Muscle is where it's at. 0-60 in 5 sec sounds like it's about 1 1/2 sec too slow.

( presonally My favourite is Mercedes S line AMG with v16 engine and 1300 horse power , that thing can go 370km/h and accelerate to 200 in less than 7 sec O.O , but not sure if its stock or tuned by original mercedes tuner brabus)

@889350351 You specified a Honda in your previous post, but yes I do know the cars you're referring to. I'm sorry, I did not understand you were referring to "exotics" when you mentioned the Honda. In that case, how about a Saleen S7, SSC Ultimate Aero TT (faster than your Mercedes and Bugatti), or the Dodge Viper ACR? All American cars.

@889350351 wow ur an idiot. the Mercedes S65 which is their fastest car only has a 6.5 liter twin turbo V12 not V16 and it only has like 675 hp and 730 lb.ft. NOT 1300 hp. learn the facts before you try and lie about shit you don't know anything about

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have a 93 eclipse AWD turbo. I am having multiple problems with it!!! what its doing is when i start it after sitting a day it runs fine. Park it then come out about 45 mins later and when i start it its like its lost all power. It idles really low and backfires when givin gas. When floored the rpms will not go above 2000 rpms. Please help me

@bigrappainhc - The ECU is in LIMP mode. It's a protection mechanism so that you can drive it home when it's broken without blowing the shit out of the engine. Look it up.

@biggeorge77 i had my f150 go into LIMP mode one time. cant go over 30mph or 2500rpms and feels like you are running on 2 cylinders. it just did it and when i shut it off and checked everything, i found nothing leaking so i figured id start it, well it was back to normal and hasnt done it since. that was 1.5 years ago and it was about 5 degrees F outside. dont know what triggered it.
