hello, nice vid, how is this chip overall? how fast is windows boot time? also what about just web browsing and streaming lots of hd vids? is it fast for general use like this? what about video editing and rendering do programs like vegas/adobe etc run smooth and how long would a 10 minute 720p hd video take to render? thanks

@TheHaplessGamer - this chip is very good at gaming and video encoding as well, recently i uploaded 1080p vid of skyrim, its a 3 mins video so it took me around 4 mins to encode 1080p vid to H264 with xlisoft.

I'm getting the following: FX-6100, 4GB Kingston Hyper-X 1600MHz RAM, ASUS M5A97 Motherboard, Titan Fenrir EVO, HD6870. Will a 850W Corsair TX850 be good enough to power it?

850w psu is more then enough.

@milzeh - ya intel cpus are better but only 10-20% but prices are nearly 2 times. i would rather a 10% slower processor instead of buying overpriced chips.

@milzeh Think about it... Do you wanna buy 10 AMD 6-core processors which aren't so good but good enought for gaming or 1 Intel 4-core processor which is good but price is too much? I mean that you can buy 10 6-core processors with same price than 1 intel 4-core.

What do you get in the windows experience index whit the FX6100

But now i know the scores. FX-4100 / 7.2 - FX-6100 / 7.4 And Intel-2500 gets 7.6

I think i am going whit the FX-6100, because its much cheaper then intels 2500.

@Piepsien - no not in my mobo, i need to enable it from bios until next bios releases =/ and uts turbo core my bad.
