You know that you're my "turkey cooking king, aka queen". That bird looked great. I'm going to get a turkey this weekend now. MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmm! Looks
Thanks kalvino098,I do a little trick while i am baking the turkey, and it works every time... after wrapping it well i add about a cup of water to the pan, this way the water boils and steams up the oven and keeps the moisture in which keeps the meat juicy and so delicious.
keep checking the water in the pan, do not let it dry out, keep at least couple of cups of water in the pan all the time to keep the steam going on. good luck and wish you and your loved ones a very happy thanksgiving!
My parents were from Lebanon and my mother stuffed almost everything with this Hashuey; Zucchinis, Eggplant, Vine leafs, Cabbage, Chicken, Lamb Rib's, mmmm delicious, she added pine nuts too, my favorites are the lamb stuffed intestines (gammeh) oh God what a delight.
Beautiful job! I've slipped my spices under the skin, a very important step, I think. But I have never put the stuffing there! Great idea! I bet it tasted SO good :)
