@10georgian Funny is that Wikipedia got the Informations from NATO & the EU-Report and both sides said that Georgia started this war and made very high losses. We helped people out...they didn't wanted to be with you so we gave them a chance to be independent. NATO took Kosovo from Serbia so we take Abkhasia & South Ossetia from Georgia. Thats what i call pay back. Russia is important in Europe...in oposite to Georgia. They respect Medwedev and laugh about Saakashvili.

You have nothing to do with Kosovo but with NATO and we just payed back what they've done to Serbia. They kicked our allies ass, so we kicked their allies ass. @SovjetPhoenix nope. Nuclear is not necessarily military power, but quite terrorism or something like that. An Army its military power. Russia Army its not so powerful anymore, this is a fact. Anyway Georgia is a little nation compared to Russia, and they fought with proud. Cecenia its a very little country with no power at all, but Russia cannot handle it because of some of their Generals dumbness that are wiped out moderate cecenia policy just to increase terrorism. @LightsEShadows They fought with Proud? All they have done is running for their lifes and bombing civilans with GRAD. I blame Jelzin for the Chechen War. With Putin we wouldn't have that big losses and we would handle this problem much faster & more effective.

@SovjetPhoenix They didnt bombed civilians. They bombed Russian invasors that was in civilian area too. Come on, Russia heavy concentrated thousands of infantry and many tanks on Georgian borders in those days. It was all planned, and the main goal was to wipe out the US-EU Nabucco pipiline and they succeded until US NAVY forced to retreat from Georgia ( but pipelines are useless now and need to be rebuilded ). End of History.
About Nukes thanks God Russia is not the only one to have it.

@LightsEShadows anyway are almost useless so powerful weapons, 'cause they destroy everything spreading radiation everywhere... they dont add new resources to a country 'cause you cannot conquest a nuked city with Idrogen Bomb and retaliation will be devastating. On the other hand, little tactical nuke can be used on battlefield, but again they are not the only one to have it and a missiles shield of next gen can dramatically reduce the effectiviness of nukes.

@LightsEShadows anyway the point is that Russi is making mess in all Caucasian area, that there's not democracy in Russia, but regime oligarchy, and many corruption even in the army, real question for Caucasian conflicts.
At the opposite the independent Georgia succesfull fought corruption, its very modern country and much advanced and succesfull economy rather than Russia.
Im italian, i like Georgia like many of us in Italy and Europe. Just "corrupted" poliyics sold their ass to Moscow...

@LightsEShadows When Georgia had fired with GRAD on Zhinvali there weren't no Russian Soldiers arround...they came a little bit later to this Region! We had only 10.000 Soldiers in this Conflict and made a loss of 67 Soldiers. We had 150 Tanks in Georgia and didn't lost one of them. We would have bigger losses if Georgia would fire with GRAD on our Military. We know what our Weapons can do. Even if it was our plan to destroy Nabucco...it was succesfull and you shouldn't mess with Russia!

@SovjetPhoenix this is not true. Georgia fought to Russia to defend his borders when Russia crossed the Roki Tunnels. There are sat photo showing massive russian troops on Georgian borders in the days before. Any country in the world had defended theirself.
Its obvious that Russian army is strongest than Georgian one, nevertheless Georgian fought proudly and with courage and also have success.
About Kosovo, im against that new EU colony, but Serbian Ethnic cleaning was very bad issue too.

@SovjetPhoenix nope, those are the facts. Eu reports its just a diplomatic declaration, by idiot european commissions that are solding out our european asses.Many important things are intentionally avoided.
For example dont care too much satellite data, and avoid to talk about 58th Russian Army presence in South Ossetia. And no 58th Russian Army IS NOT a peacemaker but an invasion army. After other troops crossed Georgian border, they engaged the 58th Army as everyone should have done.
