you are a wonderful pure hearted person and may Allah bless your good heart....very beautiful and inspirational imagine all women did this....even if you change the life of one person what a difference that would make...wow
What bothers me, is that this issue is treated in isolation from the theft of the Congolese people's resources.
The problem is that for instance coltan, which belongs to the Congolese people, is being stolen by western corporations. To do that, they employ the local military, which uses the terror tactics that got you involved in this issue, to clear out locals and create a zone of control.
The true solution (the only one with lasting effect) is to demand that the resources of the people of the DRC are only sold through the government of the DRC.
We need a continent (world-) wide protocol, that ensures that all natural resources are only sold through national governments.
The people of the DRC can control their government, they cannot control a foreign controlled government that is only a disposable placeholder, there to facilitate the theft of their resources.
i ran the 5k in Chicago this year and i plan on running it every year, i cant stop talking about these women, i tell everyone i know about this vicious and unimaginable war and i will not rest until these women are saved. the Lord still performs miracles and HE WILL redeem the Congo and the women and children of this land.
