I still remain positive that an inner light was glowing within him in 95.Seriously listen to his voice. compare it to 92,93,94. Something happened to him before the end. His "young voice" started to return in 95. Strange but very true.
He says it sooo sweet and oh so gentle...and with a tilt to the head,he sings.."but lost in,love."....and thats exactly what we lost in,one month and a day later. The last fan thrown"into the lion`s den."
So sad.....He should have been in a hospital not up on stage. They should have stopped touring at the end of '93 and allowed Jerry to get better. Maybe he'd still be with us today.......
@leshtricity yes - otherwordly for sure. The camera focused on the screens and not the band makes it seem like the image is coming from beyond. Plus Jerry looks like an ascended surf master in those shorts.
I love the accent on "the lady fairly LEPPPPTT at him" 3:38 . Those little moments show that Jerry never lost the feel or the love for pure melody.
man, i always go off and find other music and neglect the dead for months- but i ALWAYS come back to this music. it's superb. i mean '95 was rough, but jerry is so god-blessedly awesome. much love to all the 'heads.
No...not the least bid 'bad' or sad. Not really sure what your unlettered comment has to do with anything. It's not perfect, but it is very enjoyable. TV educated people like you are hard to deal with...
Jerry......you will be missed by so many people! We still and always will love you and what you did for this world! You helped a lot of america with your music, and you still continue to help some of us today. RIP Jerry Garcia.
Happy birthday big guy! Miss you much! Smokin one down for you!
