  • Happy birthday big guy! Miss you much! Smokin one down for you!

  • You were tired Jerry, You had every right to be. " Gave the best you had to give, how much we'll never know -- never knooooow" Miss you -- THANKS !!!

  • jus be quiet and listen to the music play!!!

  • I still remain positive that an inner light was glowing within him in 95.Seriously listen to his voice. compare it to 92,93,94. Something happened to him before the end. His "young voice" started to return in 95. Strange but very true.

  • @slipyourhips

I agree his voice is brighter not as gravely at all.

  • @slipyourhips

3 14 93 is pretty good too as far as his voice goes.

  • I was at this show. Jerry was in a bad way around this time. We love and miss you JG! You were an Angel! R.I.P. Jerome John Garcia

  • He says it sooo sweet and oh so gentle...and with a tilt to the head,he sings.."but lost in,love."....and thats exactly what we lost in,one month and a day later. The last fan thrown"into the lion`s den."

  • So sad.....He should have been in a hospital not up on stage. They should have stopped touring at the end of '93 and allowed Jerry to get better. Maybe he'd still be with us today.......

  • So glad that I got in to both nights at Soldier Field. A month later... Fare thee well :(

  • @leshtricity yes - otherwordly for sure. The camera focused on the screens and not the band makes it seem like the image is coming from beyond. Plus Jerry looks like an ascended surf master in those shorts.

I love the accent on "the lady fairly LEPPPPTT at him" 3:38 . Those little moments show that Jerry never lost the feel or the love for pure melody.

  • Nice work.....thanks for sharing.

  • thank you Jerry.

  • so glad to say I was there..awesome show!! rip Jerry!!

  • I was in the 18th row this night. Thank you so very much for sharing. :)

  • Jerry was the man, The Dead outlasted many talented and famous bands in their genre. You rock Jerry!

  • He looks like he's 100 years old still great to see!

  • man, i always go off and find other music and neglect the dead for months- but i ALWAYS come back to this music. it's superb. i mean '95 was rough, but jerry is so god-blessedly awesome. much love to all the 'heads.

  • rosebud in action!

  • I can't even watch more then a minute of this, it sounds fine but its so sad

  • @porkfrieddylan same here :-(

  • hey man, he did the best he could with what he had. he gave us a world of pleasure that will last a lifetime.

  • where is this?

  • No...not the least bid 'bad' or sad. Not really sure what your unlettered comment has to do with anything. It's not perfect, but it is very enjoyable. TV educated people like you are hard to deal with...

  • Jerry......you will be missed by so many people! We still and always will love you and what you did for this world! You helped a lot of america with your music, and you still continue to help some of us today. RIP Jerry Garcia.

  • who is that at 4:02?

  • Thanks for the video. I was at this show and it is tough to find footage.

  • I was at this show too. 3rd row center. Could almost touch Jerry! After all these years their music still warms my heart...always will!

  • nice, this is jerrys last year. i could see him fading away in the 90's. i miss jerry RIP

  • yeah, not only his last year, but almost exactly 1 month before he passed.
