  • Thank you...you saved my lots time and troubles .... I owe you beer lol

  • awesome! I used to record an action of resizing and then running a batch action, but this is soooo much better!

  • This is a nice and clear, informative video - thanks very much.

  • awesome, thanks a lot! My dad can't get huge files through his IP cause they just wont come through.

  • @seetherfan1328 Have you tried Dropbox? (Free from dropbox.com) You can either put photos in a 'Public' folder and email your dad the link, or install Dropbox on both yours and your dad's computer and create a 'Shared' folder. The former is the simplest option. Hope that helps. ;-)

  • @nagualdesign yeah we both have that already... but my dad's pretty lazy when it comes to doing things himself. sure i made the pictures but he wants me to resize them too.

  • simple and quick.. thank you so much

  • @4Firearms stfu you miserable piece of shit :)

  • THANK YOU for this demo... it just shaved a couple hours off of bulk re-sizing about 80+ pics !!! Yay !!!!!

  • Thankyu

  • P.S. Tried e-mailing you, but got a "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" message...

  • Hi,

I've followed everything you mentioned and am getting an error message with some of the files whilst resizing - "I am unable to create a file in this folder. Please check your access rights to this location I:\Rutland Productions - 35mm slide production\Alan Moorhouse - July 2011\New Scans\Medium Res\JPEG"

I'm running a brand new computer running an iCore 5 processor with all the bells and whistles, so don't think that is an issue. Any ideas?

    Best regards

  • This is SO awesome! My husband knew I had done batch resizing in the past and asked me how to do it. Of course, I hadn't done it in a year or so and could not remember to save my life. After 1/2 an hour of trying in vain to figure it out on my own (I was hung up on thinking it was in Automate, Batch and never tried Scripts!), I googled and found this video. Clear, concise, and just what I needed to know. Thanks, Photoshop Samurai!! Now my husband thinks I'm a real tech babe. :-)

  • This is a great video, I have one question though. Is there a way of batch resizing photos so that the larger dimension is resized to the size that is input? so, for example landscape photos would be 600 in width or portrait photos would be 600 in height.
