jazz must be played though your enimies howl ,,,,jazz must be played when your fingers are foul, without that paddle and on that creek, your arms may get sore but your penis won't leak,,, fun to adapt from the master,,,
that was so deep. my mother used to read this to me when i was little but i didn't understand, i was just happy she was reading to me. She loves me too much.
@wearewhowearent well it is a kids book and youll find this in the childrens section on any bookstore. and probably the most important one in the book store too. adults are idiots, kids will appreciate and learn from this more
This is a perfect example of why Dr Seuss wrote books. He was challenged by his university professor to present a serious topic in a rhyming pattern for kids. He loved the idea and never stopped writing them. If you notice, most if his books have a serious message behind them.
@wearewhowearent this isnt a kids only book its a perfect inspiration and I am happy if we teach our kids that since young age if they grow up with this in their mind :)
@TheHamishbatten1995 because that eliminates the whole point. the "cartoony" narrator makes it better because you feel like you can do it. and imo the music is already fitting. it makes it feel like an adventure.
@MeemoBbz My favorite part is just the line "I’m afraid that some times you’ll play lonely games too. Games you can’t win ‘cause you’ll play against you."
Great reading by John Lithgow, gotta love that voice. Music went well too, felt very Dr. Suess appropriate. And fantastic job on the video with the book! Perfect timing. Thanks for the great work here.
This book is perfect for every single human being in the world! I went to a friends graduation and one of my friends was a speaker and she read this book. It was so great to look out at people I have known all my life and think man we probably listend to this book together when we were little and had no idea that we'd be at graduation together =) It was great
I don't think the audio is crappy at all, thanks for postingI love this book I didn't even realize the theme until I read it to my son, hopefully he'll on faster than his mom!!!
"and when you're alone there's a very good chance you'll meet things that scare you right out of your pants.." ROFL damn seuss you planned it all along
Dam this is what i grew up with in elementary never thought il be hearing it again at the age of 23 lol good memories miss being a child after hearing this :(
@Vic8Teach I'm an adult, new to Dr Seuss(I'm Jamaican so I didn't read his books growing up), but this message is so profound that I keep coming here to hear it.
My kindergarten teacher got this book for me, then when I graduated high school, my mom got me a card that read it. It means so much because I'm living through that book right now.
@gargarensi Dr. Suess did a lot of political cartoons (or comic strips as they are know called)... One of his most famous ones is from World War II, and the US's slow reaction to it...
I was read this by my teacher when I was 8 and since then I have had 5 different teachers read this to me and I am a Junior in high school now
